Just like Toronto Trent was his first two years there

He was never 1.5 VORP over a full season, and certainly not in a half season.

1.3 and 1.2 is close enough for horseshoes

The Bucks are routinely described as a team quite determined to make at least one move before the trade buzzer sounds to try to enhance the supporting cast around Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard.

As determined as any team on the NBA map, as relayed to me, to make a trade before the buzzer sounds.”

Whatever does or does not happen it is great Horst has been aggressive.

We’ve seen reports like this since November.

Yes we gotta pull something off and this is a bottom line business.

But Hammond waiting for the phone to ring was a very different tact.

Lillard should be on the block, he's just not that guy.

Dream Scenario

Pat + pick or Johnson to get under 2nd apron

Bobby Khris pick? For Butler. Khris opts out and signs back with us for MLE this Summer or more if we can pay him more.

Good lord, KOC is tweaking. What justifies how the Jazz are getting paid off in this scenario? Feels like all those picks should be going to Sacramento, and I'm not even a big Fox guy.

Sexton and Collins is a solid deal.

Fox has to be one of the most overrated players.

That is horrendous for Sacramento. Just horrendous.

One of the reports the other day said Miami may be willing to take salary beyond 2026 now in the right situation.

Maybe that’s just posturing.

But if Golden State is offering Wiggins, ending contracts and a first for Jimmy we’d have a tough time competing with that offer — especially without including our 2031 first.

Dame for Fox and Keegan Murray is the way.

Vivek would do it at this point.

Or send Fox to a third team if he wouldn’t extend here.

Question is if Kings would value Khris at that level.

Appreciate you Dame agenda guys keeping the (re: your) dream alive. but it ain't happening. If a Fox trade happens then I don't really see why they'd want a 3rd team involved anyways. Kings aren't an apron team and neither are the two biggest rumored suitors (SAS, HOU).

Just see if OKC wants to do the unprotected 2031 1st quantity over quality trade (lesser of 2025 OKC/HOU/LAC, lesser of 2027 OKC/LAC, and 3-4 future seconds). Then split those assets between a Jimmy trade and a defensive 4/5 if you can swing it.

Nah...You just over rate Fox...Guy is a good player, but he isn't a #1 option on a contender.

What happens to this board if Horst chooses LaVine over Jimmy?

K.C. Johnson/Chicago Sports Network:

The Milwaukee Bucks have shown interest in Chicago Bulls guard Zach LaVine. The Bucks are reportedly looking for additional perimeter help. The Bulls have continued to make LaVine available, despite reports that LaVine would now prefer to remain in Chicago for the rest of this season.

Do Not Trade ... Bobby Portis and AJ Green

I have a feeling Horst is going to trade my NOT trade players.

The reasoning behind not trading Bobby is that there is noone getting paid his money 12M who is better than him and his rebounding is much needed. So since we are in the 2nd appron and can't aggregate, any Bobby trade is stupid. It solves one problem and creates two.

I know this is the less popular opinion but I really like Portis on 12M. You all don't know that REBOUNDS IS A PART OF THE DEFENSE. You all think that steals and blocks or the fake Pat C shot contests are D ... you always forget that defense stops when you rebound the ball or steal it. So in my book, Portis is not terrible as all the podcasters say on D. Portland out-rebounded us by 17 boards .. Jesus are u paying attention or am I talking to a fkng wall ?

So the same ppl defending Khris with stats ... say that Bobby's stats are fake empty stats.

Anyway let's see what we do in the deadline. I think Horst will trade Portis and we will get worse. Let's hope we somehow get Butler. I wish he forces his way to us.

Bobby can be aggregated, as long as the deal gets us under the 2nd apron. We'd need to aggregate Bobby in a Jimmy deal.

I do agree that if Bobby is dealt, a replace big needs to be found.

If Bobby has to be included in a Butler trade .... It is a super hard yes from me. If there is not a big on return, Doc just has to throw Tyler Smith in deep waters and leave with the results

Dont you think if he were anywhere close to ready they would have him getting 10-15 mins while Bobby is out?

Don't see how a LaVine trade happens now that Beal isn't waiving his NTC to go to Chicago. If Horst gives up the 2031 1st for LaVine, then fire him immediately for gross incompetence.

Collins and Sexton are garbage. They'll get way more than this for Fox if they actually trade him (I doubt they will).

I would be fine with it. Gives us a little longer timeline and he’s playing great this year and won’t cause a major disruption. Although I think from a basketball sense Jimmy may be a more seamless on court fit

Horst just trade Khris and Brook please.
I don't want to start hating them.
I will always love them cause they won us a ring.
Last 2-3 years they go older slower but their contracts went upwards ... Those salaries need to be traded with others so we can be true contenders. Retire their jerseys and all but we have to try to keep winning rings.

I dislike Lavine less than most here, but yeah, if he uses that 1st, yikes. Same applies to a Butler trade.

Milwaukee is pretty close to Chicago. He could pull a Kukoc and just live in Chicago but play in Milwaukee.
