I would have SA sending out less salary, as a way to add more value to the other teams.

But think the Nurk/Collins/Love swap hurts Phoenix on the court and doesn’t do anything for Miami.

Tre and a vet min to Miami make the money work with Collins instead of Barnes..

and probably agree that Miami is owed more value.

No idea if Sac should do it or not, I suggested similar so I guess I think they should. They don’t have financial problems until Murray gets paid so get the picks and see what Monk looks like in a bigger role for a year and a half.

imo Beal on an expiring will be more open to waiving his NTC as I think teams will be more open to buying him out as part of the trade..

The firsts are probably not great, but do set Sac to be aggressive if a different star becomes available.

Great, but then who plays PG for the Suns?

Haha. That is my fault.

Tre* Jones.

Though as a side note.. holding up the Butler deal Phx has been going for for weeks over Tyus Jones doesn’t seem right. They’d trade Grayson for a point guard or Royce..

Does SAC go for Beal? On paper, it seems like it would create a similar situation as PHX; too many guards, not enough 3/4 type players. Moving Fox, they already have Monk, Derozan, Ellis, and Devin Carter, which is already a solid 4 guard rotation.

SAC is a team I would’ve seen going after Ingram, or maybe even Randle if he’s available.

Because Beal + 3 very low 1sts (effectively the value of one 1st) doesn't get Fox, or even that close to Fox. Miami would have to be adding significant value in such a deal. What are they willing to give up, and is it enough for the Kings to care?

Ware and Herro and taking Huerter (and Beal too, for that matter) plus those 3 1sts is pretty good. Better than what SA wants to put on the table (Vassell and a couple of protected 1sts). And Houston apparently just wants to stay the course.

I also don't believe Fox's first choice is SA.

I'm just not sure we offer both of even either TBH.

The Fox to the Spurs deal is difficult enough for others to try to piggy back on a proposal to conceal a value steal. Namely, the Suns aren't turning Beal and Nurkic into Butler with their 3 crappy FRPs. This is only a wet dream that can never happen in the real world. Better dream of winning the lottery.

If we are trading Fox its for younger players and picks not to make us watch Beal and DeRozan together.

Aside from this being yet another trade where Miami is a dumping ground, I don't even think this is a legal trade as Phoenix cannot aggregate salaries.

I concur with this and I am of the opinion that you don’t give 1st round picks unless they are for a sure fire all nba player and fox at his apex isn’t that. He isn’t an ideal fix because his shooting isn’t knockdown level and his passing is just acceptable and not standout. I also believe netting 6 picks for him is basically crazy.
