So not only Allen gets a friendly whistle than Mahomes, but he also played less games. The stat likely hasn’t updated over the weekend, so Mahomes still trails Allen 32-38 on that department. It means Mahomes received 32 in 132 (0.242/game). When you sort the per game stat, you'll see Josh Allen the leader of the pack.
*Another note, Jared Goff received 39 total roughing the passing penalties in 144 games (0.271) & Kirk Cousins received 43 in 169 games (0.254). Funny enough, his backup QB, Carson Wentz, received 30 in 97 games almost matching the absurd rate (0.309/game) by Josh Allen.
If you want video evidence, you can YouTube Josh Allen roughing the passer; there are plenty of interest flags as well
Josh Allen was a running QB early in his career. He average twice the rushing yards than Mahomes in their first 5 seasons. So that probably factors into it as well.
Is it fair to compare him to Cam Newton? Because he got 35 in 153 (0.229/game)
RG3 has a comparable rate as a running QB with 16 in 54 (0.296/game)

For some reason, Ryan Fitzpatrick blows everyone out the water with 52 in 147 game (0.354). All I'm saying is maybe it's not as big of a conspiracy as people think.
