It's hard for me to evaluate, but what are the chances of City getting a transfer ban in the near to medium future? Could this be the last transfers in a while?

Here we go. Patrick Dorgu to Man United. Top 5 Here we come.

No more Dalot on the left flank.

Now send out Casimiro, Rashford and sign shakey legs Nkunku on loan.

Arsenal's £60m bid rejected by Aston Villa for Watkins.

Can't see the Villains selling both he and Duran, who may be off to Saudi.

Yep, ZERO chance Watkins is sold. He's so important to the setup of out team, even when he's not scoring.

If reports are accurate, Duran is off to Al Nassr for 75+. Tough one, but that money helps us further build out the depth of our squad and possibly bring in Felix + 1-2 others.

Duran could have become the world's best striker, but he could also go completely off the rails with his personality, so I'm in favour of cashing in. There was NO CHANCE after this season, and I think the further it went, and him spending most of the time coming off the bench, he would eventually be a distraction.

Villas officials are pissed with Arsenal, we’ve told them he wasn’t for sale and they still bid for him anyway. Especially before our game yesterday, I highly doubt he leaves us with Duran gone now.

Watkins is really key to how we play and he’ll be a lot harder to replace than Duran.

I've also watched Tel quite a lot for Bayern, I started watching them regularly when Kane and Dier joined, and he is without a doubt a very talented player, and last season he did impress me at times. I'd welcome the signing if it happened, but he'd have to be mad to come here. The question is: Is he up for a potential relegation scrap? Would 60m be better served buying a few squad players to add depth and help alleviate Spurs' injury crisis? We're short in most areas.

Apparently also trying to sign Stefanos Tzimas from Nurnberg, along with Brighton. Now that's one I haven't seen.

Tzimas is scoring a lot of goals in the 2. Bundesliga right now.
Awesome talent but I don’t think he is ready to make an immediate impact in the Premier League.

Do clubs often make unsolicited bids?

I thought they'd at least get the player to ask to be transferred, to put pressure on the club which owns the contract.

So Arsenal just made a bid, without checking with the player, whether he'd at least be open to the transfer?

Could be a good way to weaken rival clubs, especially if there's a very competitive race for at least the top 4 spots.

Normally clubs will speak with the agent to determine if there’s a possibility. In this case Arsenal may have done so but were told we don’t want to sell him and Duran but they still went to bid anyway.

This is not the first time arsenal have done this with Villa, they’ve done it when we had Douglas Luiz.

It was done just before an important game as well.

Watkins will stay at Villa for now.

Looks like he's not coming to Spurs. Hopefully the money can be spent on more sensible targets.

Seems like we might be getting Tomori from Milan.

Just never really made sense for you guys to go for Tel imo, I’d say it’s better you guys spend on filling out your squad.

Also maybe binning off Ange as he’s pretty much the cause of most of your injuries imo (training methods) , it’s similar to Leeds with Bielsa. The play style/training is not sustainable imo.

Agree completely about Ange and Bielsa comparisons.

I do think that whoever gets Tel will have an exciting talent on their hands, but I don't think we're in a position to be taking punts at potential. We already have a slew of talented players like Bergvall, Sarr, Gray, etc. but you need structure and experience too.

Probably sound a bit insane but I’m curious how Rashford (if true) would perform under Emery.

I think unless he resets his mindset. Not sure he will do good anywhere. I think he wants money more than he wants to play.

That’s the worry, but I guess on a loan it won’t be too bad. He’s already on 300k a week, how much more does he want lool?

If rumors are accurate, he has a lot of debt and a loy of people to pay off.

Bottom of the table, not a great coach, not great leadership. Not much to like. I think they messed up losing Kane.
