JB + picks for Bam.

Do it.

Just do it.

Don't think you'd need the picks. They'd be going the other way.

This is a Red Auerbach kinda trade.

Maxime Aubin: According to a reliable source in San Antonio, De’Aaron Fox and his family have already been working behind the scenes in recent months to prepare for the player’s arrival with the Spurs. It is now up to the negotiations between the 2 franchises to succeed. – via x.com

How do the jazz end up getting four draft picks when all they are doing is dumping the salary of two players they don't care that much about??

What am I missing here?

We'll see. Rumors are rumors. Still extremely tough for NBA teams to get the money right with the new CBA's aprons, penalties and trade restrictions.

Looks like KOC carrying water for Danny Ainge. Two first and two seconds to flip Collins and Sexton into Keldon, Heurter, and Zach Collins next years expiring… lol, probably not

I love it but have no idea why Portland would do this trade.

I would be VERY surprised to see the Celtics do a trade that sends out future first round picks. The Celtics will be very expensive in the future they may very well need those picks to dump a contract like Jrue Holiday's in the future. Sending out a first 6 years from now for an 8th man doesn't seem likely given the Celtics future monetary commitments.

Huerter would certainly be popular in Utah. Those jerseys are flying off the rack

The only first round pick in Bobby Marks idea is this years draft which would only affect a Holiday move before the draft.

Something I posted as a thought a while back in the Springer thread. Obviously you hope to pay less, but Kessler is good and under team control for two more seasons + the playoffs run
Brad Stevens on fans who want the Celtics to tank: "I don’t think they’ll like me all that much then."

I don't watch Utah games. Would Kessler really be that big of an upgrade over Kornet?

We for sure have to do something. No idea what that something would be though.

And as much as I'd like to see a move just for the sake of shaking things up, the truth is that we are already the most talented team in the league. And I don't think it's particularly close.

I don't want to say that Jrue, brown and white have regressed because I don't think that's the right word. But teams are playing them much tighter than they were a year ago. I think all 3 of them should be taking less shots and looking to create more.

Oof that’s a metric ton of draft capital for a 24 year old 11/7/3 per 36, .547TS% guy.

I’d rather keep Springer if that’s what it costs to upgrade.

I like the trade. I also don't value Springer, the 2025 1st and 2030 2nd pick. Celtics have enough of the Davison, Walsh, Watson, Scheierman type players that won't be rotation players for another 2 years if at all. Camara is a 24 year old NBA starter, a 6'8" 3 & D guy who has a great contract the next 2 years and would fit perfectly as a Hauser alternative when he is not performing. Guess it depends on what you value. Doesn't really matter because I doubt Portland would let him go.

Honestly, this is one of the only Jimmy Butler trades that I've seen that actually makes some sense. Miami doesn't want long term salary and Toronto has always wanted Wiggins.

My bad, i read that as the picks flipped. I like Camara as a player, so if its just this year's first i think that would be a good get especially becasue the C's still have the Washington #2 which will likely be basically a first anyway.

I would definitely do that trade. But not necessarily from a basketball standpoint. If you guys can recall.I already stated.I know Toumani quite well. If he were to get traded to Boston, i would end up getting free tickets.. Maybe get invited to practice.. And before you know it , I'd be trying to straighten out Joe and directly speaking with Brad Stevens.. 8-)
