I think you'd need a large sample size to come to that conclusion.

- Randle struggles seems to be related to his mental lows mixed in with an overall slump.
- Donte has had a pretty good January and it's no coincidence it happens to be when he was inserted into the starting lineup.
- Obi isn't trailblazing, but it seems like he's a net-positive since the trade.
- Grimes seems to be bouncing back from a horrible season in Detroit.

Don't forget, RJ is also having a career year under a new coach

Thibs is a solid coach overall. He gets you regular season wins.

If he's a great coach then his impact will be clearly seen in the playoffs. A great coach takes this elite roster to the finals. If we underperform in the postseason, then I remain a Thibs skeptic.

.
Anything less than the ECF would be a major failure. That's the least we should demand of Thibs with the roster he has.

I am sick of him kind of but less sick of him than couple weeks ago of course lol. Nothing we are seeing makes me think he can play the starters as much as he has — and be set up for success come spring.

Did Riley get that very talented team to the finals as a head coach?

No Jordan...didn't count.

Did I do it right @buzz?
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

We're headed for a 2nd round matchup with the Celtics, does anyone really believe he's going to out coach Mazzulla? In order to beat that team we're going to need him to think outside the box, play zone, mix up matchups etc. It's not happening if both teams are healthy.

Thibs is garbage. His offense doesn't exist and his defense doesn't work in today's NBA. Trash on trash on trash.

I disagree

I was in a mood. Just play the bench if you're so high on letting the game tell you what to do. Apparently, he doesn't listen. Let's see if this recent trend continues. I like what I've been seeing. Lazy offense and whack defense aside Play the bench and keep the players fresh for the late in the game and late in the season for the playoff run. It's not that much to ask for.

Jokic just ass kissing Thibs because he knows his coach and Thibs were buddies on Jeff Van Grundles staff.

Cumulative regular season wins have never been a problem for Tom Thibodeau. This is an elite team.

Jokic comes off as someone who tries too hard to look humble.

The people calling for Thibs to go were saying so because he was running the starters into the ground, underutilizing his bench, and making poor in game adjustments. He's since woken up and improved in all of those aspects so why would anyone still want him fired this season? He's earned the right to finish this season out and then some (potentially).

One little 3 game losing streak (happens to even the best teams every year) and you guys really thought you were about to get fizdale and Frank back. Sad

Bridges averaged 40mpg for December, he's playing 33.9mpg over the last 5 games. The minutes police were victorious in fighting Thibsorism and now these guys are trying to spin it as a win for them? How sway.

The minutes were too damn high.
