Booker’s effort was absolutely disgusting in the 2H. Then of course stat pads when the game is out of reach as usual. One of Grayson or Royce has to go for someone taller with some heart. The height and heart issue was definitely exposed tonight.

Re: 2024-25 Season Discussion and Speculation Part III
At this point I don't think a Butler trade is going to happen. Not because Ishbia does not want it but because no one wants Bradley Beal and Miami is not interested in taking on his salary. Beal also can stop any trade from happening due to his NTC. I don't see anything changing in a week.
I would love to get Butler still. If Ishbia can pull this off that would be very impressive.

I agree. Thankfully he is blocking trades
He hasn't blocked any. Can you name which trade he blocked and where he said he didn't want to play for a cold weather team? People just making stuff up.
No one wants him. Not to say he wouldn't block a trade but there hasn't been one agreed to that he's blocked. He hasn't even been approached about waiving it.
No one wanted him when he was in WAS. Only Ishbia was stupid enough to get him.
I've only seen certain Suns fan support what Ishbia has done and the Jimmy Butler move. Everybody else laughs at him. Seriously. I haven't seen anybody outside of Suns fan saying what the FO is doing is smart.
The only thing Ishbia is good at is making an already disastrous situation even worse. When you think it can't get worse, it does.

I see the delusion and melt downs are back after an ugly loss. Booker for Amen & KD for Chet/ J-Dub
? We will get back 3 unprotected 1st for Beal before either of those trades happen.

The T-Wolves are just one of those teams that have our number at the moment. The loss does not bother me we played better but lost the game in the 3rd quarter.

Now this is what we should be talking about. If it’s true. This can get a decent player back with Nurkic+ a minimum or 2 contracts.

I flipped over to the game in the first half for a minute here and there. Saw they were up 12. Then went back and only up three at halftime. Didn't go back since I knew they'd fold in the second like they always do with Book and KD as the "leaders".
A collection of undisciplined-weak hearted divas and joyless vets put together by the newest bottom of the barrel owner and a clueless front office. Yay.

If they trade for Butler - might be good for a few games but eventually will be 170m for three guys happy at losing by 20 . They just want to get paid
You nailed the roster and it starts with 1+35

Re: 2024-25 Season Discussion and Speculation Part III
Other teams with smarts and discipline must salivate playing the Suns. They know Book and KD will hold/dribble the ball for a while before finally making a decision to typically drive into defenders waiting for them. Result...tough shot or turnover pass. "Hooper" doesn't mean "winner".
Has any ex teammate of Booker ever said "Man, I loved playing with that guy"?
Suns have to give away picks to get rid of players they just got by giving away picks. Effin sad what this franchise has become. God I miss Colangelo.

We should go after Avdija and stop waiting for Butler. A month ago we could have got him for Grayson and a late first like the ones we got from trading our 2031 first round pick, but his price went really up since then. I really believe he can be our missing piece and be for us what Aaron Gordon was for the Nuggets.
Another thing is that if we are gonna trade now Grayson or Royce I would try trading Royce and keeping Allen, which I know will be difficult because of Royce's lower salary and value. I've lost confidence in Royce and I don't trust him in the playoffs and this season he is getting blown by players too easily and I really don't think that his defense is good or consistent this year and on offense he can't do nothing except shooting the 3, where he is also very streaky.

Please advise….

What would a PHX offer for Deni look like?
Remember POR traded Brogdon, a lotto pick, an Unprotected FRP and 2 SRP to get him and that he has exceeded expectations.

Sources have informed The Arizona Republic the Suns have been talking to teams throughout the league about trading 7-footer Jusuf Nurkic, with the Atlanta Hawks being one of those teams.
Michael Scotto of HoopsHype reported this week the Suns are looking to pair up one of the first-round picks they obtained from Utah with Nurkic to acquire a “high-level” rotation player.
Just looking at the Hawks and based on contracts alone, the Suns could trade Nurkic and a first-round pick for guard Bogdan Bogdanovic, who is due $17.2 million this season.
Bogdanovic is in the second of a four-year, $68-million deal as he’s scheduled to make $16 million in each of the last two years of the contract.

So using anotehr FRP to move off of Nurkic because the the GM name Mat Dips**tbia made another lousy trade so he is going to double down and make another crappy trade that just moves money around but doesn't do a damn thing as far as winning
And if he gives up a FRP pick for Nurkic - its a no brainer he will use Dunn to get Butler

Bogdan has a club option in 2026/2027 -- so same time line as Nurkic
probably wouldn't hate the deal but why give up a FRP
just a straight trade of players
