If the Bucks wanted to do what the Suns did and turn their 2031 first into 3 than something like this would be what I would try to do.

Bucks in: Williams III, Hunter, Nesmith, Nance Jr
Hawks in: Khris, Marjon, Wright, 1st round pick
Blazers in: Pat, Garrison, 1st round pick
Pacers in: Bobby, 2nd round pick

Sign Rollins

Dame | Rollins | AJ Johnson
AJJ | Green | Trent Jr
Nesmith | Hunter | Livingston
Giannis | Prince | Smith
Lopez | Williams III | Nance Jr
Dealing with people who exhibit the "smartest person in the room" syndrome can be a challenge. One approach is to listen their opinion while also encouraging open-mindedness. It's important to create an environment where all voices are valued.

We need to stop quoting and responding to the stuff from 2024 and 2023
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Eh, if we're giving up the 2031 1st or even breaking it into multiple pieces, I'm not doing it just to turn Khris and Bobby into a couple rotation level role-players. We've seen at this point that you can't just have a bunch of catch and shoot dudes and lob finishers around Dame/Giannis if we want an actual elite, Top 3-5 type offense. The LaVine/Butler stuff at least gives you that vital tertiary creator so defenses can't just load up on the wall and trap the Dame/Giannis two-man game.

This right here. I know people have been bringing up recent DEF/OFF ratings, record etc etc, but you take a closer look and we've been doing it against cake teams (yes we should). Play any playoff contender and you can see we've struggled.

The Bucks have been just as good against legit teams as everyone else after the first 10 games. Bucks struggled against all teams to open the season, and that investment in learning a new play style is paying off now.

Also, those numbers don't include the Cup championship, a game were we slapped OKC, a contender, in a playoff environment.

BOS/CLE/NY those are the contenders in the East and we've gotten slapped all season by them. Even during this hot streak. I can't think of one quality team we've beaten except the OKC game.

I would love LaVine if we never traded Jrue. But you know Bucks already traded defence for offence with Lillard and now Jimmy is what they need. Let’s focus on that.

I get that Lavine is not a good defender, but I’m not sure I get the defensive concerns if we’re moving like Bobby and Khris for him? They’re not good defenders either.

Guess I’m just not sure what makes the defensive concerns so dire. That and the defense has been pretty good since the rough start.

Imagine this defense with Jrue and Butler though.....

Jrue, Butler, AJ Green, Giannis, Lopez would be a great balance of offense and defense

I hate that you guys are talking me into this, but yeah. I'd at least trust LaVine to be physically capable of switching and staying in front of opposing guards and wings in the playoffs even if his IQ and defensive instincts suck. Bobby's defensive short-comings both physically and mentally are well documented, and Khris just looks cooked at this point if we're not gonna plant him at PF for the rest of his career.

I'm skeptical Bulls attach a 1st to move LaVine, but if they do, I'm all over that. I understand his defensive concerns, but it would be really nice to have another halfcourt player that can create his own shot and shoot a high percentage from 3, that also isn't 33+ years old. Lillard-Ajax-Lavine-GA-Lopez would be interesting.

I also think Lavine has a much better chance of defending in this system than current Middleton does, just based on age and athleticism.

I’d take a flyer on LaVine if we really had no other option and the Bulls add a first rounder.

Sometimes guys play better in better situations. Coming to a championship contending roster with a real superstar and second banana might do wonders for him. He might focus more on the defensive end than he is now. Would still much rather prefer Jimmy if you’re gonna swing for the fences this deadline, but LaVine wouldn’t be terrible.

LaVine won't be a Buck. I've already been so blessed in my life.

Jaquez was god awful last night. I don’t think he’s even an upgrade over Pat

His biggest downfall was scouting reports. He needs to adjust his game.

Lavine doesn't have a single competitive bone is his body, which is why Middleton has always and still is the better defender.

Lavine does not care about winning.

Cut the Hawks out. We don't need 2 backup centers, and we still need some playmakers.

LaVine works out we've got a solution for when Dame wanes.

Jimmy is entirely about the next couple years even if it does work out.

The chances we think either work out is of course critical for how hard we'd try to get them.

I agree on focusing on dodging a complete and utter cancer.

I can not believe people want Butler here.
