Clips favored by 3 1/2. Our bench is so much better than theirs. Time for Ty let them shine.

NOTE TO MODS AND ALL MY BOARD BROTHERS: I'm off to my homeland of Philly for a few weeks to play some rock'n'roll. :D
This is my last game thread started until I get back. Hoping you'll keep up the pride.

    GO CLIPS :onfire:

Edited by mod: We'll hold down the fort, my friend. Keep rockin'.

Trojan work on the hame threads mate.

Enjoy the time off!

This is the type of game we need to be winning if we want to maintain our position in the standings.

Hope KPJ can put in a performance similar to the bucks game. When he's locked in on the boards and D, and keeps the pull up 2s to a minimum, he can be a very good player. He should look at Kawhi and try to emulate his game.

My two fav teams.. ahh,

Well, I think the Clips are gonna come out hard after that loss.

And, Kawhi doesn't want to lose to the Spurs, especially in SA.. I expect an efficient, all-around night from Kawhi and a neat moment or two with Wemby around the paint.

Can't really see Spurs slowing down Powell, either.

Spurs getting back from France games.

Clips win this I think.

Such an awful finish to the 3rd after going up 16.

These shot clock violations are obnoxious too.

We literally need to have our arms chopped off by the Spurs players in order for them to blow the whistle.

Went just about as expected.. fine bounce back win here

Kawhi's coming out game of the season

Another big-time game from Zu and Powell, with Harden playing pretty strong too (sans the TOs in 1st half).

Fun game from Batum as well. KPJ decent night.

Nice solid win on the road after blowing the lead in the 3rd. Nice balanced scoring between our big 4. Kawhi finishing the game was a great sight.

Great resilience. Credit to Kawhi and Zubac for pulling this game out. Kawhi is such a great player- it is a total shame that he can't stay healthy. There are very few players in the NBA that I would rank above him when he is healthy.

The second half was amazing. Everything just clicked and Kawhi was his old self. Despite those horrific turnovers Harden looks better this year. His passes are on point and he’s shooting better overall. Not sure what’s going to happen at the trade deadline. Rumor has it Bones and Tucker are going to be trade pieces to get either Jonas Valanciunas or Boucher for backup of Zu.

Monster game again by Zu!! Powell and Kawhi coming up big in the 4th!! Really need to quit it with the TOs, they don't even bother running back after committing them.

Hope this is true. Valanciunas would be great and it would also stick it to LAL because they bring up his name all the time.

Count me in on Boucher. He just turned 32, he’s largely been healthy, he’s got a solid all around game without any super standout skills (otherwise he wouldn’t be available), he's played well on good teams, and he can play the 4 and 5. He averages around 18-21 mpg. I hate to say he’s exactly what we need because I’ve said that before and watched it go to $h!t (*cough*SpencerHawes!*cough*) but … well, you get the idea.

And, yeah, the second half and fourth quarter were impressive last night. The Spurs are like the Pistons right now; teams too many people still think of as bottom dwellers that are completely respectable and moving in the right direction. The Spurs were 12-10 at home going into last night’s game. It’s nice payback for the game a few weeks ago.

I had no idea Boucher is 32- I would have guessed he was 25 or 26! He would be a nice acquisition- he can shoot and is quite athletic

Zu has quietly turned into one of the top centers in the league. Good to see Kawhi rounding into form. Bench is still suspect.

Chris Boucher would be a nice get.. would adequately solve issues at the 4 and 5.

Just concerned about his size at the five against true bigs, and if Zu is not available/resting in those more isolated scenarios which could be important (like playing Denver, or Minnesota or Memphis, etc).. so keeping Bamba would be nice as a 3rd C.. while not consistently productive, is still a big body, 6 fouls, and agile as a true center.
