Nah, we have an overload of Sags. If there’s any player I’m praying is at 4, it’s ironically (like Scottie) #4 himself Ace Bailey….and just pray the team before us fell in love with Kasp.

Give up on the tank. We don't play one playoff team in our last 20 games.

That's not entirely true - there are plenty of ways to get a guy with a basic handle towards the rim. I'm not expecting him to break someone down from two feet beyond the 3pt line and get all the way to the hoop and finish - he receives the ball in the midrange plenty enough to take a straight line drive to the rim from there. We just aren't seeing it.

Ace's game is a bit like Melo's. Plus hes 6'10 and can also rebound and defend. Everything else he can improve on.

Ace will grow to become a superstar for one of these teams.....Idk how far we will fall in the draft lottery odds but idk if we will be in the range for one of the elite prospects in this class....Its just going to suck watching some studs in the top of this draft go to different teams when we were in prime position to get one...

I’m with you and if I’m being honest it wouldn’t surprise once teams bring Ace in to workout if actually moves into serious consideration for the 2nd or possibly even the 1st as you never know how high a GM may be on a particular player. I’m just saying if there’s any player I’m hopeful to fall to 4th (if it’s us lol) it’s Ace.
I’d actually be a bit torn between Kasp or VJ.

Ace is the number 1 pick.
Walks into the league with an elite pull-up game. Doesn't have a well-rounded offensive skillset yet but his top-level jumper gives him a strong base to build from. Maybe he's a little too trigger happy. Can make some nice passes although far from a creator. I think what seals it is his activity. He plays hard defensive even if he isn't perfect all the time. He has the two-way game that everyone covets. Lock him in as 1.

Lately it’s been looking like VJ as the consensus #4. Jak’s level took a small dip

I'm so in on Ace/Coop/Harper that if we fall anywhere from 5-7 I'm packaging that pick, the Ind 2026 pick and another future swap just to move up. I don't see us being this high in the lottery anytime soon so we need to get a guy this draft
Any one of those 3 can be enough to help turn the franchise around.
Ace as a play finisher next to RJ and Scottie with IQ and Ace roaming the perimeter would be lethal in 1-2 years

I think Toronto still probably takes Jak given the numbers and the fact that its hard to see how Walter/Dick/RJ/VJ would be able to coexist without someone not getting minutes. VJ can't guard 3's and 4's and neither can Walter or Dick. RJ theoretically can but him at the 3 takes away his strength advantage. None of them can play point guard.
I think if it were the Hornets its VJ all the way at 4. But I def have him and Kasp in the same tier alone at 4 and 5

We’ll be drafting a role player that’ll struggle to land minutes and will have to spend the next few years down in the g-league.
We’ll be mediocre for years to come.
Enjoy.
Most likely we will be drafting in the 7-8thish range if we continue to try and win these games that mean nothing in the long run....Which around that parts of this draft you have Maluach, Demin, Knueppel, Fears....Which is not the most exciting group of prospects as i don't see superstar upside for any of them....
Most likely Masai thinks Barnes will be a number one option....Which is alot of faith to have.....Thats the only way it makes sense for Masai to not care about drafting another role player.

That's why he got the extra 2nd pick and drafted Shead.

Older Sophomore aged Freshman:
VJ
Knueppel
Queen
Ian Jackson
I guess see them slightly different and should be compared with CMB and JT Toppin.
VJ's FT shooting is up to 77%. He has 2.3 stl / 2.1 to's and a BPM of 11.5.

If he can maintain his play since Jan 7 and make a good tourney run, I might even take him #3 over Harper.
1a Cooper
1b Ace
3 VJ
4 Harper
5a Tre Johnson
5b Jaku
After that, I'm just praying.

I'm one of the biggest Ace fans I'd make an argument for him going 2nd over Dylan especially if it were the raps picking. But Cooper is definitely the #1 pick, his only real flaws was whether or not he could be a main scoring option and recently he's been showing great improvements with his jumpshot/pullup game.
Overall potential is still up in the air tho
