Crazy how much he has improved.

Kid kinda has that Jayden Daniels vibe.

Last night was the first time I watched him since the Olympic qualifiers. I see the Jayden Daniels comp. He was ridiculously poised. But man does he look tiny out there. Not just short but narrow.

I agree. He’s an explosive athlete that plays much bigger vertically and due to his length. Kid can D up.

I was surprised by his floor game and playmaking. Never in a rush. Not forcing. His shot looked so much better. His shot selection was way better.

Don’t think he’s ever a PG but I could see him being a lead handler scorer. He’d look good next to a PG like Lonzo.

Dude just doesn’t really do anything. Can’t really get around anyone off the bounce much like Giddey. His shot is way better than Giddey though. I don’t have him in my top 10 anymore.

I'm still trying to gauge where he is athletically before I take him out of the top 10. He can't create right now but at 6'8/6'9 I don't think it's a dealbreaker as long as he has enough functional athleticism and straight-line speed. The initial burst didn't look that bad so improved strength would go a long way.

Egor Denim is an interesting prospect to figure out. I think he's a wing at the NBA level, and could thrive playing more off ball. Personally, I think he should go back to school and play with potential 2026 first pick AJ Dybantsa. He could benefit from getting a year stronger and playing with a top prospect who will get the most attention from opposing defenses.

I watched the BYU game for Demin but was more impressed with Kanon Catchings. Granted it was a breakout game for him, but he looked really smooth offensively and has a great frame.

As for Demin, I know it won’t happen but he should consider going back to school. He’s too raw and too soft to even get developmental minutes in the league.

Demin is a really interesting talent to me. His stock has fallen but I still have him in the top 10 if I’m drafting.

Anyway, probably correct about staying for a year but does anyone like him do that anymore?

Not really. I can’t think of a top 10ish guy who’s done it since Marcus Smart. But I could see that tide turning in the NIL era. A guy like Demin is at serious risk of washing out of the league if he comes out now. But with a little money in his pocket, he could stay in college another year, develop his shot, and put himself in a better position for a big second contract. BYU will get lots of attention with AJ Dybanstra coming in next season. That could also help Demin’s stock.

Like I said, I’m almost sure that doesn’t happen. But lots of prospects would benefit from changing their approach imo.

Nah number 1 is Cooper Flagg's, it's not really close (he's turned my initial perception on him).

But if I'm picking no. 2, I'd have to think about picking Airious there.

Yeah Ace is really starting to turn it on after a worrisome start. Even his free throw shooting has been great the last few games. Great to see. I really want a top 5 pick.

I don't think the Bulls will drop all the way to the fifth spot, but a top 4 pick after lottery luck would be a great start for some top end talent.

I can't believe someone was saying this draft was weak. There's some seriously talented players in this draft.

This could be a 9 deep class.

Who are your nine deep?

I don't think Bailey playing well is a surprise. He's been a top 3 player for the entire process.

From my vantage point this is a weak draft that has a big drop off about 5 or 6. That is likely to change as I fall in love with players but so far I'd be happy with Bailey-Harper-Flagg-Johnson and KJ

I believe it is and I’ve been saying such. It’s great to see the college guys improving and taking over.

Losing the 2025 to the Spurs could be ideal, because that 2026 class is looking stacked. It would be nice if we could keep both picks. Thanks AKME.
