It was good, too, that Mikal had a nice stretch when it mattered most. Keeps his momentum going after the rough 1st half.

Have the Knicks in the last year ever not been open to trading Mitchell Robinson? How many more trade rumors is this guy going to be in before they decide to get rid of him?

I know he just talked sht about our squad so I'm suppose to hate on him but stay was more than a bus rider. He was instrumental in those runs. He is mos definitely a HOF player. And whats cool about his game is he got the most out of his skills. Busted his ass and a real student of the game. A really cool player - minus all the dick kicking sht. That's unforgivable.

I don't know what we can get for Mitch... Time Lord or Jonas V.? Both come with risks. I guess I'd rather have Time Lord for his defensive upside even if he's as injury prone as Mitch. We'd probably have to attach at least one or two second round picks to make it happen.

Just look at that beautiful bold curved NEW YORK font.

What we have now looks terrible in comparison

I think the Knicks would be open to trading for the RIGHT return. I doubt they will trade him for pennies on the dollar. He brings too much value to this team when he's playing.

Mitch is probably gone. It sounds like something went wrong with his rehab. Not sure who would take him though if he can’t even play this season

He expires next year and they can attach some 2nd rounders for a bench wing.

Sadly sham's Newports are going to be ashy as hell.

Speaking of sad - it's sad that he is only let out during the knicks rare down times this year.

He thought we were going to lose that Hawks game, he used the last bit of charge left on his phone before he had to put it back in his jail wallet :(

Another guy that actually wanted the Knicks to be bad, very sad.

Im sure he'll miraculously find some spare change to post again when/if the knicks lose in the playoffs

j4remi wrote:When Deuce and Precious are healthy, the bench is more formidable than they've gotten credit for. That's not to say they're world-beaters, but Deuce and Precious can both give 20 minutes off the bench without harming the team.

Brunson has figured out that if he doesn't get the whistle, he can usually find a cutter somewhere around the rim instead of throwing a shoddy floater up and it's increased his diming and efficiency.

KAT even on an off night had a huge impact just by putting Jokic in foul trouble early.

OG got his groove back, and Mikal is back to late PHX, first season in Brooklyn mode.

Everything's trending in the right direction and it's wild, because this happens every season with Thibs. The defense came around a few weeks later than usual, but every season under Thibs, the Knicks gain steam around the holidays. Usually, there's a trade that helps provide the final spark, but this time it might just be guys getting healthy that gives them the final nudge to being full-fledged contenders.

Great point about Thibs teams taking off in the 2nd halves of seasons. Just happened a couple weeks later than it usually does. Make sense that it happens to coincide with Deuce being back and precious playing better. Not that precious has ever been great but his minutes had been ugly until recently. Hamstrings are usually really tough to come back from. Now there’s 7 guys that you know will be able to perform with 2 question marks. Reincorporating Mitch will be the next hurdle. If he can make precious and Mitch work off the bench that will give us 8 guys.
