All I know is that I wouldn’t cry if Silver got the boot. Every time he pops up on my screen, he’s spouting the absolute worst ideas.

It didn’t go so well for the last few teams that held him against his will.

You don’t want a bitchy Buttler around. Like having a hungry, horny sex deprived woman on her rags around the house. You don’t want that nonsense.
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

This is actually really brave of him to admit and come out and say. One thing D-Wade is gonna be is transparent, and a lot of ppl hate it, but its a rare but often great quality as a public figure, when done right. Because a lot of men will listen to that and it'll change their perspective on going to the doctor and how they take care of themselves.

I wonder how much Gabby had to do with making him take his butt down to the Dr. and get checked out lol

crazy how after 40 things go down hill fast

When you reach around that age your lifestyle comes back to haunt you. Stress, diet, suppressed emotions, unhealed trauma, bad form habits in the gym, lack of exercise etc. It’s your body telling you what’s up. Not too late to turn things around though.

Sounds to me like the NBA tried to memory hole this, and make it go away, only for the Feds to circle back

This might also be the deal that gets Adam Silver removed as well
THANK YOU TERRY!

There will probably be be another crooked old msn after Silver. This corruption runs deep.

Reminds me how they tried sweeping the Donaughy allegations under the rug. They always play naive to protect the shield

Hence Stern investigating itself. Like Mcdonalds conducting a health study they paid for. If truth comes out the NBA wld collapse & there wld be big fish in hand cuffs.

Stern at least had some type of a spine. Silver is a very weak and off putting person. He has done nothing but harm the league during his tenure. I hope the FBI can bust something open. Basketball is a great game, the league needs somebody who gets it in charge who can make the changes needed.

Players need to be held more accountable, the game needs to be more accessible, and the rules need some adjustment to make the game more defensive. The game needs to be geared in a way to make mid range jump shots viable again. Growing up watching the league that’s where all the fun guys to watch lived, that is where the creativity was in the game. Now it’s become a game built on metrics, and hardly anything is entertaining about set shots from the 3 point line.

You think about guys like Jordan, Kobe, Wade, and Dirk those guys all put a special stamp on the game with their play from the post up and mid range. Something that’s almost been entirely eliminated from the game. I look at guy like Dion Waiters or Michael Beasley players I really enjoyed watching for their style of play. I also think how the changes that were made in the league somewhat has robbed us of players who would have really shined and been very entertaining if the game had not shifted.

All the things you mentioned progressed over time because Stern brought in sh*t rules for ratings such as taking away hand checking, defensive 3 seconds which both was to generate more scoring for entertainment & profit. But it hurt both defence & the big man in the long run to now we have centers who wanna be point guards & nobody giving a sh*t about defence. Stern started the devolution of the NBA. This man was boo’d each time he took the mic. As crooked as they come.

Jordan’s proximity to this situation should raise some brows. Goes all the way back to his first “retirement”

Used to be a man’s game I agree. I remember basketball being extremely physical to the point where guys carried players on the roster simple for that purpose alone. It made the game fun, that edge has been lost, and I think with that a lot of the rivalries both between players and between teams. One of the reasons I love Miami basketball so much is because we are maybe the only team that has somewhat preserved a little of that mentality

Lots of gambling rumours around that time after his father died which lead to retirement.

We have Pat to thank for that. Old man won’t compromise his old school thinking & traditions. These principals were never broken for Riles. It’s the league around us that subscribed to most of this BS.
