Honestly our core is good.

We can just go back to everybody having strategic muscle strains and add a top 5 pick to this exact lineup and be well off.

Masai has done some amazing work here trading siakam for “flexibility”.

It's just been hard to tell because we have had so many injuries together and our core hasn't played together.

IQ, who is supposed to be our second best player and most deadly 3 point shooter, has only played 9 games.

Barnes has missed 1/3rd of the season, and key bench guys like Brown also missed more than half of the season.

Would be interesting to see what Barnes, IQ, Barrett, Jak can do together if healthy over a bigger sample size.

The quality of play is terrible league wide right now.

We’re already a good team when healthy and everyone is properly slotted.

Case in point Davion Mitchell looks like a player again overnight and magically when properly insulated his weakest attribute — 3 point shooting starts to improve with his confidence.

Agreed.

Davion is an awesome defender. That is probably the only attribute he shares with Kyle. He isn't the competitor that Kyle is...which is what gives him his edge.

Shead is leadership material. He's vocal and he definitely plays with an edge. I might be wrong but I see Shead being almost good of a defender that Davion is...but still a positive defender. I need to see that shooting improve. He comes closest to the GROAT.

I think Shead is much more talented than Davion. He just needs to bring his defense up to Davion's level or.somewhere close to Kyle anyway.

Shead is a much better PG overall, is more explosive & will probably end up being a much better shooter.

As good as his defense may be, he has to be better on offense to justify his place on the court.

That's why he's still closer to being out of the league than being Kyle Lowry.

I was comparing their early career stats not long ago, they are fairly similar. All depends how hard he is willing to work.
