Before. I use it as a substitute for salt. If I were going to dry-brine with baking powder and salt a day ahead I might add the chicken salt to whatever sauce or rub I was using.

I just like it as a nice little savory, chickeny flavor that enhances the wings.

Random shoe question: any advice on where to find this yellow and white Freak 6 colorway?

That sounds good. Sometimes I don't want sauce, just something with a nice flavor.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I just found out tonight that someone I really cared for passed away and it's left me empty. She was one of the two or three people I've been closest to over the last 20 years. I'm going to spend the rest of my life wondering if I could have done more to help her.

I just want to say that if you're feeling more down than usual and just need someone to talk to or even just yell frustrations at (I've been there), don't hesitate to reach out to the people you know. Open up. Times are very tough and just hearing a reassuring voice or getting an affirming message can help.

Please, no matter what, reach out to the people you know. They care for you.

Wow that's terrible. Everything you said is spot on.

I'm so sorry to hear this. I lost a best friend back in March and used RealGM/you guys as just an outlet to talk about it. It's insanely difficult to lose someone you have known for 20 years and are close to. If you want to talk or vent I'm here for you. I still find myself having days where I think about him. I'm glad we have this community here.

So damn happy for Madison Keys. I just wish the AO wasn't impossible to watch as an American. It was fine when I was like 20 but I have a bedtime now :grampa:

I really like(d) Sinner - and Iga - but their doping cases have soured me, even after being cleared. Like I guess their explanations make sense, and I understand the amounts in their systems were really trace, but it's impossible for me to put it totally out of mind.

Dry rub > sauced

I love any kind of lemon pepper or Cajun dry rub. Sometimes I’ll do a few of each and mix them together.

I generally just use an OTC rub on my wings. Often the Kosmos Dirty Bird, but this chat has me interested in whipping up my own. What you listed looks like it'd be pretty darn good on nearly anything.
I throw mine on my pellet grill 0-400 method. If time allows I like to let the wings dry on a rack in the fridge most of the day, if not I towel dry best I can.
Family loves teriyaki sauce so most get sauced in some of that.

Damn I'm hungry for wings now!

Giving these a shot tonight (maybe tomorrow, they're in the fridge marinating now).

I can't wait until my kids are just a couple years older (I'm not wishing the younger years away) so I have more time to cook.

We get home from daycare/work at 5:30, I make something simple to feed them, get a bath, youngest goes down around 7-7:30. And the youngest won't let me do anything as he always wants my attention. Like bro, I'm trying to cook some good ****.

You may get a couple years of cooking in there but it only gets worse with after school activities and having to shuttle them to rugby practice and debate team meets.

Very good. I'm not a dry rub guy but these were great. I marinated 2 lbs, ate half tonight, and it was hard not to go back and make the other half.
