I could use good pod recommendations. I've gotten really close to the sweet spot where I've got just about enough to fill every day. I need about four hours more.

The NBA ones I subscribe to are:

Hoops Tonight w/ Jason Timpf
Game Theory w/ Sam Vecenie
State of the League (if you don't mind tangents)

The gambling ring accused of conspiring with Jontay Porter to manipulate his performance in NBA games also bet heavily against Rozier in a 2023 game for the Hornets

man... hits keep coming for the heat. they may have just completely lost an asset and i'm not even sure how the salary plays into it.

But I like how he just flat out gives up the goods on flagrant violations of the CBA. Also he craps on Heat Culture. CBA violations and laughing at #heatculture are my catnip.

Just prepare yourself, because he is an absolute idiot. Purposeful or not aside, you're signing up for SAS/Skip content without the yelling. He's Ryan Hollins lol.

This video of Gilbert Arenas is disgustingly offenisve. His repeated characterizations of guys like jimmy butler being treated like a prisoner is beyond decency.

In no particular order, his three worst remarks:

1) Him and Bomani Jones comparing Butler's treatment as how people are treated when they resist arrest.

2) Players like Jimmy who aren't respected are like serving 5 to 10 in prison

3) Arenas criticism of Riley not knowing how to recruit players and that if Arenas was in charge he would prey on young players and offer them free strip clubs and women because that would get them to sign with their team.

Add in that he says Butler doesn't care about money anymore. He has so much that it's all about respect is another doozy.

I also like the one that his son will only play on a college team in which he is guaranteed to be the star.

Rozier has made $133m so far in his career. Why on earth would he be getting involved in this ****? Or just another NBA player who’s bad with their money and need some extra (shady) income?

Someone needs to sit Bill Simmons down and explain to him, very slowly, that no one in the league would trade Giannis for Tatum right now. Or Dame for Jrue (or half of the dudes he has ahead of Dame, for that matter). I mean, GTFOH.

I nominate PP as the resident Simmons stan.

I’ve gotta stick up for Bill here. Listened to the pod last night and he has Giannis ahead of Tatum in the trade value rankings. It was Russillo who said Tatum had more value (mostly due to age) and he twisted Bill’s arm into swapping them.

It’s stupid though. Any sane GM would trade Tatum for Giannis in a heat beat.

He puts their stats there just to undermine his own argument? Dame is literally better at everything

idk how some of you guys are still listening to Simmons/Russello/Ringer content in the year 2025. Must be a habit you can't break.

He says the dumbest things about two of my teams and I'm still locked in 3 times a week. Can't **** help it.

Never listened to the Simmons pod, but I like The Press Box, The Watch, and the Big Picture.

Is Amen Thompson the new flavor of the month? Feel like I've seen him all over the place since his buzzer beater vs Boston.

I don't usually get fired up about all star snubs, but can anyone give me the argument for Sengun over Sabonis?

Brandon Clarke is a nice defensive weapon to have.
