Booker to Houston

Durant to OKC

Jones to wherever

Allen Nurk and O’Neal for whatever

Beal will probably waive his NTC to the Bucks or bulls

I get it’s never happening

You will enjoy your 40 year old hospital team and that's final

It’s really highlighted by this Memphis/Houston game. Fn foot race on every play.

I can’t see Houston needing Book. They have plenty of firepower. Fun team to watch. I think Book to Houston is a media driven concept.

Katy Perry still releases albums and thinks they'll be popular. Very few people that make it to the top change what got them there. That goes for Ishbia, Jobes, Budenholzer, Booker, Durant, Beal. None of them have enough incentive to rebuild.

Somebody needs to ask him Who exactly should sit so that he makes it?

He’s burning out with this team. I’m sure he had very high hopes….and can see the ground through the clouds.

he, like many here, is not having any fun with this team

At least he was chuckling…. And it does pay well. Frankly, basketball-wise, I feel bad for him. He’s had just about the most dysfunctional front office/coaching staff/and rosters as any one player in the league. May be he deserves better, but for that to happen, he needs to move. He won’t last another contract here.

We’re so badly run as a franchise that Frank is quoting himself now. I sincerely despise our team with passion. We need to trade everyone including our female star Devin Booker.

Yea unless they want Beal, it isn't happening. Beal alone will take 2 firsts (if we're lucky) to offload him. Miami thinks they'll be players in '26. Unlikely.
Not saying they should take Beals contract, but they're more likely to use their cap space to absorb expiring deals for picks than they are to sign Luka or KD.

CP3 gets bought out, joins the Lakers (probably). Kings can still compete with Sabonis, DeRozan, Castle, Beal, Murray, and Monk.

I doubt the Spurs would want to give up Castle and CP3 to get Fox but maybe. Would Beal even waive his NTC to go to Kings?

No. Beal will not. Only for a title contender. So he stays. Which I, for one am fine with. We should all owe him nightly standing ovations if his refusal to waive the NTC leads to us getting HOU/TOR/OKC to unload some of their high level things for KD and/or Booker.

Would not be possible without Beal.

Watching a Suns game now is like watching a 90s game (without the defense) compared to the 7SOL Suns. No movement, no quick pressure, no running.

It's depressing seeing how confused Book and KD look when the other team does a 15-2 run on them on them in minutes. "Wait, you're supposed to use 24 seconds and make tough shots".

I think the Suns should exert every future effort to obtaining a lesser power forward, instead of being extorted in a Butler trade. Beal is plenty enough to give up IMO. I wanted Grant or Kuzma but they make more than Nurkic. So I think any decent alternative is enough for this year. Obi Toppin was proposed by one of the blog sites, but might be unlikely for Jusuf. I also think that Allen is important enough to the team that losing him would somewhat negate improving the size problem. So I hope there is an alternative.

I don't think the Heat have a choice. Ultimately it might come down to either take Beal/picks or keep Butler past the trade deadline.

I think he has a point except for this season when he hasn't just been very good.

The lack of accountability and self reflection is very disappointing, this isn't like Barkley or Kidd who would place some responsibility on themselves. It's the KD effect.

Three 50M players and only one makes the ASG. Good business, Mat.

Booker didn't look like a top 25 player for good part of the season so far so nothing strange there.

Out of all the trades that Ishbia made, this is the one I regret the most. DA would have been a perfect fit for Vogel's defense. Toumani would have been utilized right away. Pretend we kept the same draft picks and still had Dunn and Oso, and this team wouldn't look half as bad. Even leading up to the actual trade I thought the rumor of DA for Nurkic was beyond unreasonable from the Suns perspective since Nurkic was such a huge downgrade. But then it happened.
Meanwhile DA is showing if he consistently gets minutes and gives half an effort he can sleepwalk to 20/10. Last four games averaging 20/12.

Suns need the athleticism badly.

In my view, that was 100% a JJ move.

As many beside myself advocated here last summer, we should've traded both Booker and Durant. Their value tanked already and after the season ends it will be even more difficult to get anything substantial for a complete reboot. We are in a terrible situation, there's no way to sugarcoat it.
