Crazy crazy proposition just putting this out there. Should we be willing to help facilitate a Butler to Miami trade if it either gets us 3 first rounders picks from Phoenix in 2025,2027,2029 or two firsts in 2026 and 2028? We can make the money work while keeping Reaves, Lebron, AD, Khnect, Christie.

The pros is that we’d have 4-5 first round picks to throw into a deal for a superstar, the con is that we’d be limited in salary to match for a trade (pretty much Reaves and DFS if he opts in) plus we’d be in salary cap hell, we’d be a thin team again and we’d be stuck with Beal because of his no trade clause.

We’re kind of in a no man’s land right now where there’s no one or two moves that would make us a contender but Lebron and AD won’t let us rebuild.

Propose the trade and I'll get back to you If Lakers can be a third team that gets us the pics ... Because otherwise I don't see It happening. Edit: getting Beal like this, will put the Lakers into the 2nd apron.

Many rumor there been interest in Vucevic, but Bulls are wanting a first for him. If Lakers do this I'm going to laugh so hard. They willing to trade Vuc while giving up a first, but not willing to give up 2 firsts for a much younger player, I will cry with laughter

Lakers need another talented playmaking guard and I like a younger Sexton but I'm not sure about his defense though.
JC is a bit too old and his defense is not good, just like Vucevic. The Bull's center can shoot and space the floor but is a liability on defense.

I know that about Vuc but his 34/5 years old def not worth a first if you can get him without a first by all means.

Sexton plays defense his not like DLO, his not great at defense but he does play Defense. He is a good consistent offensive guard who could come off the bench while Bron here or start post Bron until Lakers find replacement with hopefully that star player hehe. Yep I'm banking in star playing coming via FA.

depends on how you look at It, combine him with AD another defensive big could do wonders, same with Kessler people seem to underestimate what 2 shot blockers or having 2 defensive big players can do for your team, Let's say they both get blocks etc It starts a chain reaction on the defensive end and sets the tone for the rest of the team, another reason I want 2 shot blockers

My point exactly. We've done that previously here. After Kobe retired we waited, waited, and waited some more....and got stuck with Mozgov and Deng. then sent Magic Johnson to beg. Fortunately for us, Magic is a great Ambassador. Meaning, I HAVE ZERO FAITH, in Rob being able to recruit another Star player after LeBron. 32 years old, I want to get younger, haven't looked up the offers from Bogdonic, but I'm not throwing a FRP for 30+ years olds unless It's a star. I haven't kept upto date with Bogdanovics game does he even play defense anymore?

If not then wouldn't he be just like Knecht but older? If It's just srp's I might consider It, but not sure on the details etc.
