Re: Coaches thread
Cowboys have a DL coach now. Apparently he’s pretty good too. Aaron Whitecotton.

Propaganda. Excellent Defensive lineman coach, who then faces the Eagles offensive line, then people ask, what happened? It ain't the coaching, it's the Dawgs on the line

Is he actually good or does Mark Davis not have enough money to replace him?
Jeff Stoutland has been with the Eagles since Chip Kelly, but he's also earning the salary of an offensive coordinator.

Looks like the Saints want to hire Kellen Moore.

Re: Coaches thread
Bengals almost hired him as their DC until Zac opted to hire his neighbor Al Golden instead, not sure what that means for Graham though lolQB_Eagles wrote:JujitsuFlip wrote:That is actually wild.GoRapstheoriginal wrote:PG(Patrick Graham) apparently will be resigning as/for the Raiders DC & we kept out dlines coach the same as well!

Watch Kellen Moore go to New Orleans and win the SB his first year there.

Carr at QB and already 75 million over the cap.
No problem.

Re: Coaches thread
I am a bit worried about inexperience with Coen being so young and a 1st time head coach and all, but apparently other places were interested in him too
People in Green Bay seem kinda sad to see him go, but so did Falcons fans when we hired Nielson who was just purely incompetent with us, so we'll see. I'd say he can't be worse than Nielson, but if I do then somehow he will be.

Re: Coaches thread
I wasn’t happy at all with the Schottenheimer hire however I am really liking the staff they are putting together. The Cards had a really good run game the last couple of seasons so it’s good to see that the Cowboys are prioritizing the run game and play action with the hire of Klayton Adams as the OC.

Wait, you didn't mention Nick Sorensen. I'm sure Niners fans have only great things to say about him.

The Cowboys are really going to lean into the run this year it seems.
Btw his teams were really successful during the regular season with Schotty calling plays. But absolutely **** themselves in the playoffs.
Make sure you go back & watch the 2018 Wildcard game between the Hawks & Cowboys. Study Seattle's offense that game. Poor game plan, no adjustments. Also, the 2020 playoff debacle against the Rams.
Schotty is a good coach. But he very much is like his old man. Very little postseason success. His teams would crash & burn.

He’s coaching ST. Definitely not one of the best hires.

So he should fit right in with the Cowboys is what you’re saying?

Schotty was on staff in 2023, right? He was the OC. I'm sure he had a big hand in game planning.
That GreenBay performance is right up his alley.

Re: Coaches thread
Tashard Choice would be another great addition to the Cowboys coaching staff. If they do end up adding Choice as the RB Coach I’d say there’s a good chance they draft Jaydon Blue at some point too.

How much of that is due to Kyler Murray?

Maybe some of it but Kyler doesn’t play RB. And most of their big runs were scheme related. This is obviously no guarantee that they will be good but I like the idea of leaning heavy on the run game. The Cowboys have traditionally run that type of offense and the more you take the ball out of Dak’s hands the better you are in my opinion.
