2 FRP + WCJ for late lottery?

There isnt any athletic GOOD big in the lottery

Exactly. Even the C being hyped, Maluach is so raw and a big risk.

Just stay the course and grab Broome

Rocco Zikarsky from Australia is the C to watch out for. If a team can snap him up out of the lottery he’ll be a steal. Young kid but he’s been training in the NBL since he was 16. Great rim protector and has some skill on offense.

I dunno... no one is talking about him as a FRP. We will see as the draft nears and more of his gane will be exposed for the world to analyze

Screw what people are talking about. Zach Edey wasn’t a FRP and then he was a lotto pick. I’ve wanted him since he was a freshman in college.

Agreed. No one talks about him so he is what we consider " under the radar" but as thebdraft comes closer, people are gonna dig his videos of games to see how he checks out and he could rise or fall with that.

I see him mocked early 2nd a lot and sometimes late 1st. He is definitley on some radars. I personally have not watched tape yet, but I will before the draft.

Center prospect Derik Queen tape kind of surprised me on first watch.....seems very skilled offensively and is a smart defender....you don't see many center actually use the "pull the chair" tactic.....intriguing freshman

and then grab a future one and trade that one for some frontcourt help too :D

stop messing with 18 year olds and get some players in here before we kill Paolo & Franz and Suggs kills himself trying to hold it together without any sensible support.

Goga & TdS are solid, reliable, and predictable - if limited.

The rest are varying degrees of good or bad, but none are consistently reliable to do what they are good at. WCJ might be the most frustrating, along with Isaac & KCP on the offensive end...Ironically, all of them are signed to nice, long deals (Isaac's is fair or more than fair if he shows just a shred of offensive contribution). AB & Jett are just sad at this point, they may come around, but we no longer have seasons to waste waiting - cash them in while you still (maybe) can before the "upside prospect" shine is revealed to be empty promises...re-think this whole group around P&F's strengths and their weaknesses.

He could be the team's best defensive center since Dwight Howard!

I see him mocked to the Magic a lot, I do think he would be a good value for where they are likely to pick.

His weakness would make most of our fans cringe though as it is 3 point shooting. He is a good mid range shooter and decent at free throws, but he is a non-threat from 3 right now. Good ballhandler, good vision, pretty creative on offense, good mid-range shooter.

Same take I have with Danny Wolf I have for him-- this team can do worse than adding smart offensive players.

A point guard with a solid Assist to Turnover ratio would be ideal if this Front Office doesnt actually feel like trading for anyone.

A Center that can back up Goga & Moritz for spot minutes. Move Carter and this is his insurance. 100% chance we draft Danny Wolf

If we draft Saraf, Weltham will lose his job with the pick.

Not to say that he cant be a good player in the NBA, but going to Orlando is the worst place for a player with his skillset to go to.

The space he'll be operating in will be more limited because of our already weak spacing and his skillset overlaps too much with our duo. Added in with his lack of athleticism and operating in tighter spaces will be even harder for him

He's a good passer for his height, but the lack of shooting/athleticism makes it hard to see him as a viable pick.

I'm leaning towards us drafting a big man with our pick and a PG with the Denver pick based on how mock drafts are going and available players at those slots, but anything can change with the NCAA Tourney coming up

I mean he drafted Jett and wasn't fired, can't do much worse for where he was picked.

Agree he wouldn't be my guy, but for where they are likely to be picking I think he would be a fine pick. Nobody is getting fired for picking Saraf in the high teens. Also thinking the roster should be somewhat different next year.
