Your reason for LAL saying no is exactly why I thought PHI might consider, Bron being 40 and AD not exactly being the healthiest player out there. Probability of faltering isn't exactly really low

It's a gamble move for LAL for sure, but otherwise there are only two 2nds to work with at the deadline (and soon-to-be-used 2nds, no less), feels like more capital would be needed to make necessary upgrades

The FRP value would potentially come in the 2026 summer. The Sixers may need to use those assets during the summer of 2025 to try to make their team a contender.

If you want maybe offer that to Ainge. He loves taking those types of deals! But even with him 2026 is so close by, you sort of have an idea what LA will look like and obviously with them having every incentive not to tank, the return should be poor. Jazz and OKC have such a trove of SRP though that they can afford such a gamble. Philly really can't.

overall, I can't see either team being crazy/stupid enough for it.
