Didn't we hear the same.things about KAT?

Look how well that turned out. If the Wolves make another move it is likely with Randle, not Jaden.

Who wants Randle though? I think Jaden gets more interest

If teams want a core player they need to make a great offer. If they want a transient player like Randle they can offer less. Randle is not value less or negative. I suspect he will move (at least he would have before the injury,) by the deadline.

There's about a 28m+ difference between those 2 examples...

Sort of? There had been talk about trading KAT for years before this, with reasons like “he doesn’t fit Ant’s timeline,” and “He’s soft, and mentally weak, and you can’t win with him.” I disagreed with all this at the time.

I think it’s interesting that Gobert is also someone that isn’t discussed as part of the core, despite a new extension and how he sets MIN’s defensive identity. He and Towns are clearly strong players, but the talk of MIN’s core is always Ant, Jaden and Naz. Sometimes people overvalue age, imho.

Yeah I’d say contract was the biggest factor in moving KAT.

100% has to be right? They certainly didn't get better making that swap. Though I think most of us thought DDV would offer a lot more than he has.
