I'd trade Brook, Khris and Dame if possible. Keep everybody else in their current roles. Brook and Khris are cooked and will be exploited off the court in the playoffs. Dame is the wrong type of primary ball handler to have around Giannis. Get a massive haul for 3 dead weight contracts while getting younger and acquiring a #2-3 to play with Giannis. This current roster isn't winning anything as constructed.

Watching him try to guard Barnes, Castle, and all these young guys on switches is brutal. We need youth or athleticism, I’d happily take Mathurin, Butler, Lavine, and a decent quicker big. Trying to play Midds, Brook, Bobby, Pat for meaningful minutes will kill us. The roster as it is will not work so might as well keep swinging for the fences.

Especially when they don’t ever make them pay inside, if a guy like Barnes can defend Brook while he gets burned over & over then he simply is unplayable.

The Bucks defense is the 2nd best in the league with Dame off the floor, and 27th with him on. The fix this team needs is obvious.

Brook is no longer an efficient post scorer.

Who are the 2 and 3 that you would pair with Giannis?

Is it becoming clearer why most of us don't want to give up a FRP to get even older? Jimmy Butler ain't fixing ****.

The Bucks defensive rating is 116.3 with Dame on, and 107.3 with Dame off.

To me there are only two options. Above is my preferred. Option 2 is Jimmy. Not interested in any other name being bandied about which will just prolong the needed band aid rip. At least with Jimmy you can fantasize a scenario where he’s lightning in a bottle.

What duo would be more productive, Damian Lillard/ Taurean Prince, or Jimmy Butler/ Coby White?

I dont know who is out there but trading Brook, Portis and Midds for a new addition to a big 3 should be on the cards. Or have a bunch of guys who can play.

We should reset the cap on our team and get a little younger while giving Giannis and Dame a few more years of fighting chance.

I dont think that is Jimmy. Otherwise letting Brook and Portis walk after thr season. Not sure what that would do, but we would probably have 1 year of no salary options.

Giannis and Dame Big Money

3-6 spots Mid $10-$20 mil money

7-12 spots min money or draft picks.

Any chance a desperation Dame trade from Miami would be the come to Jesus moment for Riley and Butler?

Ware/Herro/stuff looks pretty enticing in a dame trade.

Take this for what its worth on X
The Bucks remain in aggressive pursuit of Zach LaVine.

Milwaukee is willing to include Khris Middleton and draft compensation in discussions with the Bulls.

If LaVine indeed ends up in Milwaukee, it will likely happen with multiple facilitating teams involved.

Barf

We’re not getting anything extra, they want our last assets

LaVine is not it. Doesn’t extend window, doesn’t move needle at all. He’s not young and has been literally untradable for seasons.
