Curious, what trade target you would go after?

The Warriors would be losing all their athleticism sending those two out and the team would be so slow and unathletic.

I have no idea who’s available really. I haven’t been paying attention to the rumor mill this year.

MDJ is in an impossible situation. Lacob wont let him trade Steph. The fans will roast him if he trades Steph. But he will be blamed by everyone for the failure that follows later.

That’s why Bob ran from the mess that he created.

I assume Bob was in the same situation. It doesnt feel right to say he created a mess: he won championships with that "mess". It all comes down to whether Bob would have been willing to trade Steph now, and that is a "what if" that we won't ever really know. But I bet he would not be allowed to trade Steph, even if he wanted to.

Really? Right off the heels of a victory against the team with the league's best record and a historic defense? How pathetic can this conversation get? It's like you guys cannot wait to get back to being an irrelevant bottom-of-the-barrel team for the next decade.

Yea Bob wouldn’t be trading Steph. He probably wouldn’t have let Klay walk either. But Bob created the mess with his draft picks that haven’t really panned out in a draft class that appears to have been littered with all stars.

It's basically -- do you want the end of the Steph era to be fun and a bit competitive where we can win a round or two in the playoffs (with some very small % chance of a chip that would require young player breakouts), or do you want to slog it out with more seasons like this?

Because we're not trading Steph unless he asks. I'm OK with a trade as long as we're not giving up the future with a ton of picks, preferably just one pick not dated far out. But I'm also OK with just letting guys develop and tanking this year, I'm kinda just whatever at this point; other teams are way better positioned in the near term and medium term. A team like OKC has so many draft picks on top of their great team it's insane.

a great team that should starts using those picks now to go all-in, otherwise they might wait loong time before having a serious shot at a championship.

At this point the only blowing up that makes sense is dumping Draymond and Wiggins and taking. If that's the case then trading Curry becomes the logical step. None of this will happen so lock thread lol
