Unfortuantely Dennis can't get traded back to Nets this year. Also, thats not enough money being sent to Brooklyn, needs to be closer to 30m going that way to give us enough room to sign players.

salary is not an issue we just need a 3rd team to ship Dennis to

Lacob is not trading Kuminga.

I'm a Bulls fan who is hoping to get some understanding of the trade value on some Warriors players.

I've been thinking about these trade reports/rumors about the Warriors not including Kuminga or Wiggins in a Zach LaVine trade.

Bulls would get the Warriors first (Warriors apparently aren't particularly high on that part of the draft class) and the Warriors would try to shed a bunch of players like Schroder (he can be aggregated in a trade starting Wednesday, I believe), Payton, Hield, Looney, and Kyle Anderson.

Obviously this would have to evolve to a three or more team deal since the Bulls can't reasonably take back all those players and the Warriors would need some replacements. That makes me wonder about the values of Hield and Anderson who aren't on expiring contracts. Would you consider them to have negative trade value? I haven't watched the Warriors much and I don't have a good idea on that.

Heard lacob wanted to max him earlier in the year, but it was kerr that told him to hold off.

They’re on such small contracts that they’re probably neutral. They will really help facilitate trades and have nba skills at times so they’re usable on such a small contract. We aren’t dumping them and expecting to use picks to do so.

As long as we're not extending him I'm fine with this. Jimmy-Steph-Draymond if healthy and motivated is a championship dark horse. And if it doesn't work out, everyone's off the books in 2 years and we can reload

How I would rank potential trades.

1) Poole for Schroeder+Hield+Anderson
2) Lavine without Dray or Wiggins included facilitated as a 3 teamer
3) Butler for Wiggins/Draymond
4) Vucevic

We have a lot of depth so trading for a player upgrade has been the move the last two years. Other guys can eat more minutes like Santos and Moody.

Jimmy is the only gettable guy who could give us a moonshot chance at a ring (besides Zion but that's not happening).

A motivated Jimmy can win a playoff series by himself. He is also the perfect complement for Steph

Vucevic, Lavine etc are stupid trades that accomplish nothing. Jimmy at his best is a superstar.

The last time Jimmy made the playoffs he averaged 27-7-7 and 64% shooting with Pippen-level defense.

I don't get it. Why would you MAX a player early? It what universe does that make sense...

Here is my attempt at a Jimmy deal that might be good for everyone:

Warriors get: Jimmy, NAW, Love

Heat get: Wiggins, GP2, Kyle

Pistons get: Dennis

Wolves get: Trayce, Lindy

May need some 2nd rounders headed to Wolves and/or Pistons but don't think 1st rounder should be needed in any of this.

Why for Heat: Get out of the Jimmy drama and get 3 absolute pros that are winning players. Yes, the Wiggins/Kyle contracts aren't expiring but they can help win and are tradable if needed.

Why for Pistons: Give up nothing for an expiring that can help them in seeding and playoff run.

Why for Wolves: they can't pay NAW this offseason (unless they somehow ditch Rudy and/or others to get under cap. This gets them a rotation center on a rookie deal and Lindy who can eat some of those NAW minutes if needed.

Why for Warriors: Gotta do something I guess... while I'd want to swap Highsmith for Love, I was trying to make it beneficial to all the other teams involved and not be a homer. My big thing for Warriors bringing in Jimmy or Lavine is that sending out Wiggins just moves one major problem to a different major problem. But for Jimmy we basically have to send out Wiggins. So thats why I added the NAW trade, because we would desperately need a lockdown guard defender with Wiggins and GP2 going out. Jimmy and NAW can both provide the cover for Dennis playmaking when Steph is out (so it's not all Podz). Even though this is an extremely unathletic team, I think it could compete with almost anyone in a series if healthy. I put the best/closing 5 first, but could start Looney or Post to save Dray some minutes at center.

Steph / Podz / Spencer
NAW / Buddy
Jimmy / Moody / Rowe
Kuminga / Santos / Love
Dray / Looney / Post

The interesting thing about a Butler or LaVine deal is I doubt the Heat or Bulls want Wiggins, but there’s a lot of teams that probably do. You look at what teams like Dallas, Cleveland, Memphis etc. could do with adding Wiggins and you wonder what they’d give to add to the deal

If GS ships out picks or young players i will be so disappointed. It will be back to the early 2000s all over again.

I'd rather trade Wiggins for as much draft capital we can extract from a team. Memphis, Dallas, and Lakers look like good targets to me. Then after that trade is agreed to (but not finalized)... we serve up a poo poo plater to Miami for Butler - sweetened with the 2025 Miami 2nd. I don't want Butler, but willing to give up a 2nd to make Steph happy as long as we're keeping the 1st we get in the Wiggins part of the deal.

If Jimmy comes, it's 100% he's getting extended. Jimmy is only about money. The situation in Miami is about money. In Philly, it was about money. In Minnesota, it was about money .In Chicago, it was about money. The only reason he wants to go to Phoenix is because they already said he'd get max extended. Only way to get a motivated Jimmy is to pay him. And then you still only get a part time player.

I feel that the Warriors two options are to do nothing (or something very small) and continue to fade, or else do something stupid and maybe get slightly better at a bad long-term cost.
