Everyone knew Mavs were looking to move salary.

It seems they really like AD and didn't want to drag it out...besides, if Luka and other Players involved would have found out it would make the deal harder to go thru...still a bad trade for Mavs though....should have went full rebuild, traded Kyrie,Klay and Luka ...now you have a small tittle window, which really isn't open unless AD sudenly becomes bubble AD...plus there's always the chance of AD getting hurt

With Dallas, does AD play PF more or C?

I'm done with the Mavs. This must be the most absurd trade I've ever seen - Nico should be fired and sued for damages and prosecuted for whatever the **** this thiefery is in the real world.

PF definitely unless we trade Gaford (or Lively). I would expect Gaford to be one of the assets to get someone like Fox or Buttler.

Can someone explain to me why they at least tried to look for the best offer...looking from the outside it seems frankly somewhat dark, as if Nico was acting in the shadows, sending an SRP seems directly with the aim of making fun of the fans. Of course they are baseless accusations, but I am honest with my thoughts

it definitely wouldn't have changed my perception about the trade...but at least we should have received Reaves/Knech the other FRP they could send etc..****!!! I have been following Luka for 10 years and I had to support him while he was at R.Madrid (a club I hate) but this would be too much, I would have even preferred him to land on the Heat... at least send him to the other end of the league... it would be painful to see Luka's version with Mamba mentality

No one in the media will say the quiet part out loud, that's why you see ridiculous statements by the likes of Windhorst, a hack writer and a paid for pen, talking about Luka's conditioning issues justify this.
The truth is, the NBA is built on an east west 2 headed monster, Dallas while technically in the western conference is very far from the west coast and the time zone, you need west coast powerhouse and with the Warriors and Lakers stars fading you need to restock the star deck.
I never imagined it will be pulled off this blatantly, but here we are.
I am disgusted beyond any measure, I've never thought in my life something related to Sports would bother me this much.
There is no basketball justification behind this, there is no business justification behind this.

The trade is done. Can’t go back. All they can do is go forward. How does this team look now and how can they improve at the trade deadline?

Lively
AD
PJ
Klay
Kyrie

Bench: Gafford, Grimes, Naji, Dinwiddie, Exum, Hardy, and O-Max

To me that looks like a hell of a defensive team. Don’t forget that AD is also averaging 34 minutes a game at 25/11/4. They also now have 3 FRP’s to make another move before Thursday’s trade deadline.

Just playing for the Lakers doesn’t give you Mamba Mentality. You either have it or you don’t.

I know you're right, but...the Mavs are justifying the change due to Luka's lack of professionalism and lack of ability to stay in good shape...that precedent + the maximum world media exposure, does not make Luka take seriously his state of form...nothing will
