Sims SRP for Bamba?

You know they got him to replace Kessler’s shot-blocking… 8-)

They can have Sims in his place. It'll be great!

With this lakers trade
They need front court depth
We can use a back up wing
How about Mitch for Austin Reaves? Salaries match

Heard Reaves only played well against the Knicks so maybe we trade Sims for Cam Reddish? :D

I'm sick of teams gift wrapping generational talent to the lakers decades after decade. It's ridiculous.

I swear the Mavs are the most dumb franchise in recent history. Even worse than ours. They just got lucky for holding onto Dirk. They wanted to part ways with him at some point. Since noone met their asking price, they were forced to keep him. And after completely **** the Brunson situation they somehow got Kyrie for almost nothing.

This will be interesting. With the way things are going for for the Mavs, I wouldn't be surprised if Luka has a career ending injury. But then again, it's the Lakers. They always get bailed out by some sort of cosmic powers.

Man some sort of scandal must becoming out about Luka right? Because how do you trade a top 5 player in his prime without doing due diligence. Honestly, Dallas could have gotten back 7-8 picks back for him, ALONG with Nba ready talent to help them stay competitive. It’s just complete malpractice by their GM to not even have a bidding war for him. They can justify it all they want by stating they were worried about his conditioning and all. Well guess what, that chubby **** lead you to the finals last year and is a perineal all NBA 1st team talent.

Mitch for Rui Hachimura makes the most sense.

Hachimura is a 4 who can play the 3.

Now that the Lakers have Dorian Finney Smith, and Jarred Vanderbuilt is back healthy, there isn't as much of a need for Hachimura.

If you believe the narrative, Dallas approached Lakers on this. Either that injury is worse off than reported, or yeah, something behind the scenes is going on.

I trust Tim. Obviously more so when it comes to Dallas news (and also, can ESPN stop being freakin' lazy and update his photo, like Tim hasn't looked like this in over 3 or 4 years):

You just knew that Ainge (The Picks Hoarder) would be the third team involved in this trade acquiring more draft picks (2 second rd picks). The Lakers had earlier offered their 2029 1st rd pick to Utah, along with their 2027 1st for Kessler but were rebuffed by Ainge.

After the Luka trade anything is possible. Start tossing Hail Marys. Let’s try and get Cade or Paolo and purge ourselves of the elephant in the room (Brunson)

The Mavs are a sneaky, dishonest franchise most the time so I have no doubt something fishy is going on behind the scenes.

Many, many layers here. Maybe they didn't want to pay Luka at the supermax. I won't be surprised if Luka is flaming hot behind the scenes. That's a lot of money he's no longer eligible for.

Yeah, but they could have got more for him. I think Brooklyn and the Jazz would have emptied the stockpile of draft picks. They would have had options for younger all-stars. The whole thing doesn't feel like a normal trade for a guy who led that team to the finals last year.

The Knicks need to grab a wing for depth reasons.

I like Oubre as a bench energy piece when the Knicks are healthy, but his 3-point shot has been trash. It is like 29% right now. If he isn't a liability behind the arc I think he could help them make a run this year.

League obviously wants them to be good. Just like Philly in the NFL continuously pulling off stuff for pennies on the dollar.
