I don't think it's the moves as much as the crazy salaries, player's association and whiny owners.

It’s because of the money, rules, entitled players, Adam Silver’s carnival act etc. There are reasons why NBA ratings are so low. Now Silver talking about 40 minute games instead of 48 minute games. Silver knows how to lose his audience

Dallas already has two really good rim protectors.. If they really wanted to trade Luka.I.Bet getting D Fox plus 6 firsts would have been much better for short and long term reasons..

SAS Vasell + Castle + 5+ firsts would have been much better.

OKC definitely has a ton of young talent and draft assets. So many other teams could have offered so much more..

Let's not forget Ainge's role in all of this. He keeps facilitating trades that help the Lakers get their guy. Constant middle-fingers towards the franchise he once ran. Remember he also helped the Lakers get rid of Westbrook. Or does he just love helping Lebron get what he wants (dating back to deals involving BOS and CLE)?

The number of games will obviously never end because of ticket revenue needed and TV contracts.

If they decrease the minutes, I'd get rid of the play in tourney and either make it a complete 10 team playoff with top two seeds getting byes or just have 12 teams in each conference make the playoffs. It'll be watered down but TV ratings and tickets may pop for the bottom teams. Make the best teams fight for their division than re-seed them. Less minutes through the year can make the playoffs more exciting.
