Except they didn't really shop him. I'm calling BS.

If we just talking Business- who is bigger Luka or AD

If we talking age who is younger - Luka or AD

If we talking health. - who has been healthier Luka or AD

Impact on winning - who is better currently and expected to be going forward - Luka or AD

Playoff performances - Luka or AD

Upside - Luka or AD

Who has better eye brows - Luka or AD

Defense - Luka or AD

The last one was 100+ pages so too much to sift through.

I assume he demanded to go to LA. Because if not, why not have an all out trade war for him? There is no doubt they could’ve gotten so much more in return from other teams.

Just for what little they got in return. I feel like it has to be one of 2 things.

1. He demanded a trade only to LA and made it known he was going to bounce to free agency in 2 summers unless it was to the Lakers

2. There is massive red flags with his medical that we’re don’t know about.

You could have gotten Devin Booker who would provide at least some energy vs. an aging AD.

You honestly wouldn't have done Mitchell?

Luka has been make Booker look like a little boy for years. Would've looked worse, imo

The best thing about all this that LeBron is not that important anymore. The Lakers didn't ask him about this, they brought in a guy who clearly overshadows him and I hope this ruins his farewell tour crap that is surely coming next year.

I wouldn't be surprised if he bolted elsewhere in the following days.

Good job, Pelinka.

Does Adam Silver veto the trade?

Post#26 » by JJ_PR » Sun Feb 2, 2025 4:00 pm

We’ve seen trades get vetoed before, and one of the most famous ones also involved the Lakers. Funny thing is, the Lakers package for CP3 was actually solid. This on the other hand is lopsided beyond comprehension.

I don’t see the trade going through.

Why would Dallas want to help LeBron?

You’re a paid LeBron shill. I’ve learned my lesson to never engage in a debate with you, or your many other accounts, because you have no problem with lying if you think it’ll help you win the argument

The red flags are his cholesterol and blood pressure. 270 pounds carrying that body fat with that playstyle is diabolical.

The trade is so crazy that it’s being discussed in non-related nba forums atm. Currently watching Tottenham vs Brentford EPL and the game thread is just people talking about Luka getting traded. Even the wwe fans on reddit were talking about this more than the royal rumble earlier lol. Still doesn’t feel real.

Can he?

Stern was basically the owner of the Hornets back in the days, that's why he vetoed the trade. When did this happen before that?

Lock this. LeBron is the face of the league lmao. He's important for the rest of your life.

This LeBron hate proves my point. We just had the biggest trade in NBA history and yet you're focused on LeBron smh

I’m not sure it’s possible, but if it is, I can see it happening.

The Lakers never listened to LeBron other than getting Bronny which any team with half a brain cell would've done. Even the AD trade was another no brainer. The rest of LeBron's tenure they barely cared about his demands. The biggest proof was breaking up the 2021 team. LeBron was adamantly against that.
LeBron's NBA Cup MVP is more valuable than either of KD's Finals MVPs. This is the word of the Lord

Sure, go ahead and believe LBJ didn't give this his stamp of approval. You might find out some bad news about Santa later in the year btw.

Perk says Mavs won Luka trade

Post#39 » by Laimbeer » Sun Feb 2, 2025 4:04 pm

Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

No chance. This will probably raise league revenue, which seems to be the only tangible thing that Silver cares about.

I wish he would, though.
