Bulls/Mavs Nico continues his demolition work

Post#1 » by Astaluego » Sun Feb 2, 2025 8:59 am

MAVS
In:White/Craig/Bulls 27 FRP(Top 10 prot)
Out: Lively/Grimes/Powell

under the premise that Nico changed Luka due to long-term concerns about his conditioning (unbelievable that in that scenario you would change him for an older and beaten AD... although let's leave this aside...
I literally dressed in black.
I'm in mourning today)..
I guess they must be extremely worried about Lively's long-term health, right?..
In this trade, they get some lost offensive power and another future FRP.
Grimes didn't want to extend it and since apparently saving money is a priority (and they got Christie), they're not going to extend it... This trade also addresses another need, angering and frustrating Dallas fans.
Do I seem bitter? That's how I feel.
Even though I really think the trade makes sense?

BULLS
In: Lively/Grimes/Powell
Out:White/Craig/Bulls FRP

Chicago apparently does not want a deep reconstruction, based on the draft... this change gives them their 5 of the future (apart from this they change Vuc) and fulfills the purpose of becoming younger and balancing the roster by freeing up the backcourt

I don't think Chicago would or should trade a future pick even if it is fair.

The Bulls are done trading away FRP's I mean sorry, 2 for Vucevic, one for DeRozan and they continue to suffer from those mistakes but they have learned from them

I don't think the Mavs are in down mod. I think they legit questioned Lukas guts and heart and think AD with a bunch of centers might make them better.
