From my rather uneducated viewpoint, Joey made a lot of sense crowd wise. He is popular. Logan played his role very well and was a good hire, just a perfect job for that guy playing the heel. Considering I have only watched since the Netflix move (to prep for this) man Penta has big reaction and they gave him a carry job. Clearly it was an accident but I gotta watch and see how they handled it on TV when he touched the ground.

I think that was the whole point. We had to watch a hero/GOAT and whacked.

I know Cena will never go heel, especially in the last stage of his career. But... if he's going to win the EC, I feel they have to change up his character.

If he lost the RR, what's the point of having him win the EC with his tired old ways?

Jay deserved it. He just needs some tweeking imo a new finisher and a couple of new moves and he'll be banging.

Crowd wise there is no doubt Jey goes over. Chelsea had a great crowd reaction too.

I’m personally pleased with the Uso win.

Guys like Punk and Cena don’t need it. They are huge stars and whatever match they are in, it doesn’t need the title to be involved to be epic. Though Punk getting a rumble win would have been nice for his accolades.

Rumble building up and coming stars is my favorite use of the rumble.

Cena is going to do a bunch of getting guys over I think. Paying it back.

At this stage in his career, I'm not sure how much more he can put guys over.

But as far as superstars go, I feel John Cena has already paid his dues and put a bunch of guys over. I know that there isn't going to be a selfless S-Tier WWE Superstar... but compared to the likes of Triple H, HBK, and Hogan... Cena looks pretty selfless.

Yeah, I'm uneducated as well and haven't watched in a long time.

Cena winning just seemed too damn obvious. Watching on TV, they kept building up that this was going to be Cena's Royal Rumble. One of my brothers was convinced that no way Uso was going to beat Cena. Then boom, you see the zoom in on a shocked Cena's face after he taken out in such a simple manner.

Cena is a part timer for a year. they will likely build it up and give him a shot at Summerslam. Makes sense that Uso could beat Gunther and Cena gets a match at Summerslam from Uso. Jey has the juice right now and will be around longer so they are trying to cement his hot hand.
