I wonder if LA makes a call about Brook. They desperately need a rim protector now.

Doc expressed interest in getting a big man. Maybe we get ValenC for Portis or just get Mo Bamba.

That could be the Feb deadline activity for the Bucks.

The NBA has openly tried to manufacture dissent for trading Giannis to solve their ratings' problems, so I wonder if that pressure becomes more direct now. Convince our owners they can help the interests of their other businesses.

We get Draymond, Wiggins, & 3 lesser 1sts for Giannis. Heat get Dame for Herro & Highsmith. "We needed to rebuild"

The Portis personal reason seems to be genuine; Doc said that it is personal and very serious.

Not connected then I think with any trade possibilities for Portis.

If the NBA wants to up the rating they should should get a true hard cap like the NFL. Parity rules.

Agreed. You don't hold a player out for over a week on the possibility of a trade.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I get why someone wouldn't want to do it but I don't see why this is a laughable proposal? imo a lot of what Horst is going to have to decide on this week is whether we want to throw our '31 1st on the table in trade talks.

I might have been Haynes. But I'm fairly certain someone has reported it was a death in the family.

Interesting idea with signing Bamba

Bucks: Johnson, Russell, Tucker
Nets: Midds and (Lopez or Portis) and detroit pick
Detroit: Claxton
Jazz: Hardaway, Beachamp and picks

PG: Lillard......Russell.....Johnson
SG: Green.......Jackson...Wright
SF: Johnson...Conny.....Trent
PF: Giannis.....Tucker......Prince
C: Bamba........Portis......Robbins

Detroit gets long time Center. Nets get expirings somewhat while restarting. Jazz get young player and a pick.

Does that make us better. Lopez/Portis into Bamba/Tucker might not. Midds into Johnson/Russell does? Is that worth a blow up?

Mo Bamba is like.....really bad. Why are we excited the Jazz waived him again?

So we can play his song to all the good wisconsites every 20 minutes in the Arena.

I was always wondering if any coach would turn him around into a decent player. Would Doc? Probably slim chance and he is on last string. Maybe fights for a new contract.

I’d guess a more useful C would become available this season. Penciling Mo in as a starter is pretty wild.

Mo Bamba definitely needs to be added to the list of players this board has obsessed over for years. The big man version of Jeremy Lamb.

Wouldn’t one of Lively, Gafford, or Powell be available (guessing Powell unless they want value, which the other two have). There is also PJ Washington.

Can we give them Middleton for Gafford, Washington and Hardy?

Edit: Middleton needs to go somewhere else. You can’t have Klay and Middleton on the same team. That is like a medical drama tv series and pivots slower than a sun dial.

Bamba would be fine for his role here and would cost nothing. Sign me up.

I’d be fine with a flyer in Bamba as a backup big. Hope he tries enough to save his NBA career. If they trade Brook or Portis, what’s the alternative? Robbins?
