Problem with comparing to the Warriors is we do not have a player of AD's caliber to trade. I doubt even Steph gets you Doncic.

There is no doubt, SC won’t get you Doncic.

This has to be the dumbest trade in the history of American sports, right?

Still kudos to Lakers for swinging big, not content with mediocrity. Sadly cannot say that GSW.

Lakers didn’t offer this. Lmao

Lakers were just lucky bystanders in all of this.

It’s like if someone walked by and asked give me all of your change and you say no and then they say for 1 billion dollars. Of course you say yes.

This is hilarious that warriors fans think the lakers set this up of their own volition.

What? This is not the Lakers swinging big; this is them being presented a large gift and simply accepting it.

If the new Dallas owner has 30 billion she was left by her husband she can do whatever she likes on a whim, and probably has done.

Well Warriors are not trading 37 year old Steph for Luka and I don't think the Mavs do that deal either even with all the picks.

I like this trade for Mavs -- 31 year old AD to pair with Kyrie/Klay. They are OUT on the Luka business and avoid paying him way too much money to not play defense. I think more and more teams are willing to not pay the max to players who don't deserve it. Obviously the Lakers are willing to and they'll see how tough it is with Luka making so much and not playing any defense.

I doubt any GM or Owner is using this trade as an example on how to reset. The majority of the league probably didn't even know Luka was available in trade talks.

Which is hilarious because if Nico Harrison did let people know Luka was available, he would have gotten a way bigger return. An all-time awful GM decision by a guy that had no business being a GM to begin with.

I think I might finally be onboard with trading Steph. Not because of anything to do with the Warriors but just to find a way to c**kblock LeBron/LA from another ring. Although I wonder how long before those two are fighting over the ball.

Right about now, Klay must feel like a moron for going to Dallas.

Oh, I don't know, who else was going to give him 50 million dollars?

And this move actually helps Klay (in no way am I saying it was a good trade, I'm just talking about Klay's spot).

He can now play SF and let Grimes, Brow, Gafford cover for alot of his defensive shortcomings. The Kyrie/Klay/Luka defense was exactly as bad as we all predicted on this board.

They’re down 50 to the Cavs. He is 1-10.

But he still has the money.
