The sentence claiming that "Middleton and other assets" is something the Bucks are willing to do is probably made up. Why can't these guys be real journalists?

Some guy from Phoenix or wherever he's from doesn't have any insight into what the Bucks will do. If he did, so would multiple other writers.

Taking Lavine for nothing is not something I relish, let alone giving away assets. The Bulls are in a bind, just like Miami and Phoenix. Give them one of our coaches.

Two and a half years of Lavine for way over 100 million dollars is malpractice. Horst won't do that.

He's entirely guessing based on the betting odds.

Khris had missed a ton of time recovering from offseason surgeries, but has he really been forced out by new injuries? Most of his missed games were precautionary. The surgery's were stuff he played through.

I'm saying you play the odds. 2 off-season surgeries were caused by KD's foot. Those surgeries were many months ago and still affect him. So it's not necessarily new injuries, the previous injuries are still in play. Of course injuries can happen to any player at any time. But the trade deadline is 4 days from now. If Khris is likely to be traded (I'm not saying he should be), you don't roll the dice. You order a lot of bubble wrap.

" If Khris is likely to be traded you don't roll the dice. You order a lot of bubble wrap."  . If I wasn't invested so much on my draft signature, this would be my new one.

You're not wrong, and i think that tells you he's not really being shopped.

I think that's true. He's playing tonight. He'll likely sit tomorrow night (along with others hopefully). We'll see if he plays Wednesday night.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I think any team trading for Khris is doing so to get out of a different deal and they don’t care if he’s hurt, because they don’t really care about what he would/could provide on the floor. They know he’s opting in regardless.

If Miami was interested, it was to help them make the playoffs

If Kidd would have had more time in Milwaukee, he would of eventually traded Giannis.

Thank you ownership for letting Horst fire Kidd.

I was thinking about what the domino effect of the Luka trade would be on the other big names on the market. I don't think it has much of an impact on a potential Fox trade, but I wonder if it makes Miami a little more willing to take back a longer term contract i.e. Bradley Beal. The primary rationale behind not wanting anyone past 2026 was trying to get Luka and now that's all but off the table. And if Miami's willing to take back Beal's contract, Beal and a couple of the picks the Suns got from the Jazz, that might be the best deal Miami's going to get. And so I think its more likely than it was 24 hours ago that Midds and Lavine stay on their current team.

it feels like it has taken FOREVER to get to this point, but we are finally just a few days from the trade deadline.

The Luka trade just makes the entire landscape so unpredictable now. It's not like i think we will see something equally as shocking, i just have no idea how Dallas and LA approach the rest of their seasons now. No idea who they want to keep or get rid of in light of such a drastic shift in roster construction for both teams.

Chaos is good if you can be patient and capitalize on those who feel desperate. The problem is that we should probably be feeling desperate.

Danny Ainge must be licking his chops right now.

We’re going to give up more for Lavine than the Lakers did for Luka

Is Fox and Lavine a good pairing? Can Fox play D?

All this chaos has me fantasizing about a quick flip of the team. Now would be a great time to pull off something shrewd

Houston isn’t touching that. Anything that brings us Eason will involve Dame.

I’m open to all craziness right now. Is there a Dame deal that allows us to play capture the Flagg?

Seems like concesus for trades are

One of Brook or Portis
Midds
Conny if need salary
Beauchamp as bait
31 pick

Our needs are what... Reliable SF and Center under a good contract? Otherwise does paying old man Brook, poor man Portis or a Midds opting in hampers us for the future.

No, because AD is a top ten player. That said get back to me with what our 2028-2030 draft picks look like.
