If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

Bulls really just need a vertical spacer it would unlock so much for Josh and ball.

What was the point of taking out Matas for Ball with under 3 minutes down 10? Now 12 point deficit.

Group effort of playing sloppy, Ole inside defense and not much in the way of 3 pt shooting. Turnovers, points off turnovers, layup and dunk points in the paint. That's enough to lose against any opponent.

Don't try to over analyze it, that's why the Bulls are still below 500, that's why there's so much trade talk, that's why they're borderline bottom 10 to keep their pick. Re introducing YOUR Chicago Bulls.

The problem with keeping the pick is, we still owe them NEXT year then. The stench of AKMEs debt just lives on another year.

That's why I liked Memphis' strategy the Year they got JA. They were just gonna let the cards fall where they may, and either get lucky in the lottery (which they did) or settle their debt and move on. Thats kinda what i wanna see. We either luck into top 4 or just pay the #11 now and finally be done with it.

The downside though is then AKME has a clean slate of picks to trade for more B-listers :banghead:

Matas continues the trend of playing well with 20+ mins. I'm sure he'll be back to the bench once Zach is back.

They've got a rough stretch of games coming up, while the have won 7 of their last 8, this next stretch is going to be tough.

The Bulls never should've had that debt in the first place. DDR played well here, but at a minimum AK should've put better protections on the pick (so it becomes a late pick and only a late pick). I know the Spurs wanted assets, but if 2nds plus Thad Young wasn't enough the Bulls should've moved on.

As it stands right now I'd prefer the Bulls to keep the 2025 pick, even though that means they still owe the Spurs. That way they can get on with developing whoever they draft.

Showcasing Ball potentially.
