What is the wolves equivalent for this kind of lopsided trade? Ant for kawhi?

You're forgetting the link between Pelinka and Harrison.

According to Romana Shelburne, Mavs GM Nico Harrison worked closely with Kobe Bryant throughout his career, and Lakers GM Rob Pelinka was obviously his agent.

EDIT: How is this GM not fired?

Please don't mention that. The Clippers maybe actually try. Although, Ant for OG is the more likely scenario

The DAL dealing is not done. They held out Gafford, PJ, Kyrie, and Lively tonight. Feels like there is another Max player going to DAL

At this point, with as little as it took to nab Doncic, I would imagine every team is making calls for anyone...

I want a credible, reliable PG in case Mike goes down. MacLaughlin is better than Dillingham this year, especially since he has had so much experience playing with so many of the Wolves. The less PG responsibilities Ant has this year, the better.

That Fox trade looks like a rare win/win/win trade.

Spurs got exactly the player they needed and cashed in some of the draft assets they've been hoarding.

Kings got 3 1sts and 3 2nds and if Lavine stays healthy (although the contract is BAD), should still be able to compete.

Bulls got off of Lavine's contract and got control of their pick this summer back.
Huerter sucks but they get a look at Zach Collins who can fill in if they trade Vucevic before the deadline.

I agree, and there's a chance after all the smoke clears they just cut him.
For the immediate future we badly need big man help though.

I mean, If we had kept KBD instead of Dozier we could just trade him to SA for McLaughlin outright and it wouldn't cost us an extra cent in luxury tax, but that would have just made too much sense.

(Actually it would have saved us about 2.2 million in tax since KBD is technically not a vet min and costs a little over 500k more than Jmac for salary purposes).

The Luka move seemed like something shady behind the scenes. Considering AD is still a great player, it seems like they sold low on Luka.

Also, I thought DeRozan left Chicago in part because of Lavine? But here they are back on the same team.

Seems like there’s going to be some questionable trades going forward. How do these trades affect the wolves now?

Trade board spelled it out better.

Spurs lost almost nothing in player talent and minimal draft value and got an all star.

Bulls got rid of Lavine and reclaimed a pick that was not likely to convey anyway. The trade exemption and expiring Tre is their upside.

Kings got bent over. The Hornets first is unlikely to ever convey and will instead convert to two 2nds. The Wolves pick will be 2031 and in the middle of Ant’s prime. The Spurs 2027 pick is in the middle of Wemby and Fox’s tenure. In other words 2 firsts and one of them is very likely to be bad while the other is in 2031 and likely to be meh. Oh, and they got Zach to replace Fox, which is a clear downgrade and a bad contract.

Crazy if you haven't watched dal gm and jkidd press conference.. gm stated jkidd wasn't aware. That is nuts. Jkidd went along with it, and had good things to say about AD, but WHOA

Imagine trading top 5 player with only one team allowed to bid and only one pick coming back. A 25 year old Luka for an almost 32 year old AD. This trade had something shady outside of basketball.

Yes, and patrick dumont (new owner) stated he initially laughed at the idea. So bizarre. All NBA owners should come together and an investigation should take place. Nico Harrison just making a wild decision against the owner and head coach?
