The better analogy would be the Knicks trading McDyess after his knee injury. :D

That got us Marbury! At least he lead the Knicks to the playoffs in 2004 and gave us enjoyable 33-win seasons in 2005 and 2007

Interesting about McDyess. Following the season he was traded by the Knicks to the Suns, he played 7 more seasons and remained relatively healthy.

Bob Ross wrote:I hated the Nazr/Rose trade

Isiah overrated Malik Rose's "leadership" so much that he was named a team captain.

One of the picks from the Nazr trade was David Lee, but the Knicks never won more than 33 games in a season with him on the team.

Here are some useless stats

Knicks were 21-33 with Nazr on the team in the 04-05 season, a .389 winning percentage

After the Nazr trade, Knicks were 12-16, a .429 winning percentage

Slight improvement on the winning percentage, but I remember watching games and us losing because we would get out rebounded and out sized. Pretty much every team in the NBA seemed taller and more athletic than the Knicks. Only Marbury and Crawford had real offensive talent on the team. I think Tim Thomas played on a hurt knee the entire year.

Where did you hear it from? That guy who shouts at the camera or the guy with the ceiling fan?

Just saw it on twitter by a lakers beat reporter, now I can’t find the tweet

Mo Bamba was just released. Knicks should pick him up for back-up.

I don't even care about the Mavs or Lakers but that trade pisses me off. The Mavs didn't even bother shopping around Luka to see what they could really get for a generational type of talent. They just went to the Lakers and got the first offer they made, it's just completely asinine. Even if the Mavs had major concerns about Luka's conditioning, other teams would still take the gamble and trade a boatload of assets for him. Even if the Mavs REALLY LOVED AD, they could have squeezed more assets from them besides AD and JUST ONE GODD@MN PICK. It just doesn't make any sense. Honestly, I feel like one of those conspiracy theorist right now. Like there has to be some sort of hidden reason why the Mavs made this trade that they can't say to the public right now. Like the GM got a hit on them and the only way for him to come out alive is to make this trade. I rather believe that nonsense than simply because he's "dumb".

I'm still pissed off at this trade. This threatens our title chance. However, we just need a bench. So yes, I'm fcking salty and jealous

So DeArron Fox was just traded for 2 unprotected 1’s and two protected 1’s. One of the protected picks is basically guaranteed not to convey (CHA 25).

Not that Fox would fit our team, but it just highlights how much of an overpay the bridges trade was.

You really gotta let it go. It’s been like 6 months. Starting to wonder if you’ll ever reach the acceptance stage lol.

When factoring everything in for the Knicks, I take Bridges over Fox EASILY.

And I really enjoy Fox, but it's not even close for me.

I'm a little nervous that the Knicks could trade OG and Mitch for Jimmy Butler out of nowhere. It would be completely under the radar, which seems to be the way a lot of these big trades are happening.

Does a starting lineup of Brunson, Hart, Bridges, Jimmy, and KAT win a championship, or is Jimmy's ego way too big to make it work?

You should look up Jimmy & Kat’s history before you envision him here.

I did, and they seem to have patched things up since their time in Minny

Per KAT, they're in a cool spot
