Kevin O'Conner of Yahoo! Sports has been talking about Fox to Spurs since before the season started so credit to him for predicting this trade.

I like it for Spurs and not bad haul for the Kings with the draft picks although I heard Hornets pick is lottery protected (fact check?). Kings still have an elite scorer, bucket getter, and guard who can pressure the rim and still have the option to trade Lavine for more picks and whatever they can get.

Bulls just getting into full tank mode -- please trade vucevic

I don't think the Dubs were ever serious about Lavine anyways, so no huge loss. However. who plays point for the Kings now?

Meh. Huerter is one guy Moses likes to punk. If they brought him in and played him ahead of Moody I would puke.
This movie is like the Rocky Horror Picture Show where everyone knows all the lines.

Bulls just did a salary dump of Lavine, they did not take anything back. We must not have even made an offer.

But I suspect the deadline played out like the offseason. Warriors wanted George and committed all this attention only to hold out on trading Kuminga till CP3's contract expired and the market dried up.

Warriors held out Podz in a Lauri deal and were left with nothing.

The Warriors eyed Butler, once he refused to extend the market dried up.

You know it's bad when a 35 year old openly says they would bypass a max long term contract with your team.

BTW, we can't ignore the possibility that teams don't want to come to the Warriors because of a particular a-hole player on the team.
Yep...that guy.

We weren’t ever going to beat the bulls securing their 2025 pick back. It would’ve cost us 2 firsts which is why we moved on to whatever the hell is next.

If Jimmy Butler doesn't want to extend with the Warriors, it's probably because the Warriors were offering him an Andrew Wiggins-style extension - let's say three years, $100 mil. And if that's the case, good for the Warriors.

The Kings taking Lavine doesn't make sense unless they're trading DeRozan. I could see the Dubs being in on DeMar if the asking price is low enough.

To get back own draft pick for tanking team is more important than others teams two draft picks and to pay two draft picks for Lavine would be absurd move.

Mjds brother won't like it, but tjd isn't the untouchable that jk and podz are. He'd get traded if needed.

as a salary filler? yes, better him than santos. at least santos can play in the second unit, TJD is a third string C at best.
