Keldon looked SO sad in the post-game vs. Bucks even though he had a great game and we won convincingly. He must have gotten wind of his being included in prospective deals.

Glad he's with us afterall.

Sorry it didn't work out, Sidy! Best of luck in Sacramento and with your pro career.

This confirms what Ive been saying that many of our players are crap and the league knows it. But it is a great deal considering we gave up basically nothing but a bench center, a career backup PG and a g-leaguer with some picks that were probably going to amount to nothing.

I mean, it depends on what a team wants in return. If SAC had been insistent on youth and high picks, we'd have to lose great assets as I think Castle is a blue chip and Sochan is a valued ++ defender. Plus we have excellent picks. Lucky for us, they are in win now mode and it happened to have been accommodated with LaVine. We facilitated by giving Chi its pick back which given the trajectory of their season, we would not have been able to convert this season or perhaps not even next anyway. That's probably the highest pick, unless Wolves fall apart in 2031.

The Charlotte "1st" was incredible value for us in this deal; our 2027 will likely be out of the lotto.

I think it's a fair deal for everyone involved. Each team gets the core of their wants satisfied: we get Fox while retaining our best assets; SAC gets a win now scorer, some picks, and cap relief; CHI gets off LaVine's contract, gets lesser players back that help the tank, get their pick back which they value given they are rebuilding again.

I have a feeling we're not done yet. We *NEED* a quality back up big. The rest ie/ consolidating assets for a SF we can be patient until the offseason (unless we happen to do that now for, say, BI, but it would cost us in salary matching now...).

Congrats, you guys are in such great shape.

What can you tell me about Tre Jones? seems like he can shoot pretty well but i don't know much more

I'm excited-- it's a great pickup and at a fabulous price for us. It's tantalizing to have another late-game scoring option; if we can somehow angle for a useful big before the TDL, that's a playoff berth, in my opinion.

Thanks! Now with DD and ZL out you guys can truly pick a rebuild direction. Just Vuc left to trade.

Tre: Absolute pro coming from a great family, through Duke, us, to you. Family man with solid relationship and three young kids. Works hard on his game. Dogged, responsible defender, though you can't teach height so that does tend to get exploited by opponents. Pure PG. Willing passer, good vision. Sneaky good driver. Has worked hard to improve his handles and finishing at the rim with either hand toolkit. Not a great 3s shooter but has improved it. Very good BBIQ. Floor raiser in the locker room and on the court. You got a seamless fit quality guy. Take good care of him.

Thank you, Tre! Best of luck!

I like this lineup but Im afraid our coaching staff is going to jam Vassell down our throats as a starter. Hopefully we dont have to depend on Champaigne(Tank Commander) as much as we were with this lineup

Spurs remain one of the best-managed teams in the league. Incredible trade.
The good thing about BI is he can shoot over defenders.
The bad thing about BI is he can shoot over defenders.

Awesome trade for this team

Going to be fun to watch and how much the team can do for rest of season. Fox is only going to get better as time goes on.

Tre will be missed - maybe he can be back one day in a year or two after CP3. Solid backup PG. I feel like he'll be a coach or front office guy for the org. one day in the end.
The Playoffs don't care about your Analytics
