I'm just answering the dude who compared a totally different player and situation. Dallas wasn't interested in making a good deal like this. FO helped his friend in Lakers, pissed off a lot FO in the NBA according to the Athletic sources....

Don't think it's that bad of a deal for the Kings. I wouldn't exactly call it a robbery like th Doncic deal. Fox was for sure going to leave the Kings in free agency after next year. Better to get something right now before his value tanks and the Kings losing all the leverage.

I don't think the Kings got fleeced at all. Spurs won the trade but that was inevitable. I'd rather have Lavine than any of the Spurs players. Kings also got some draft capital and a 16 million TPE. Considering what Dallas got for Luka, Kings did pretty well here. They will be a better team. Fox is not much better than Lavine and Lavine is a better shooter.

I also want to add I love how the Spurs got crucified for not having adequate guards on the team last year so they went out and got Paul, Fox, and Castle. Vik Ended up with a loaded PG slot :lol:

Paul probably stays for that run next year too. It would be his best shot in a while.

All think team needs is a AS level wing and it's on. They have the trade pieces to make it happen

Wow Kings got robbed blind by the Spurs. The crazy thing is that the Spurs still retain enough draft capital and young players to make another massive future trade for a young disgruntled star (appears to be a common trend now lol).

Spurs are going to rule the West next season onward. Don't know if they can salvage this year though

LaVine wont get you 1 FRP because of that contract.

AD will be a 4-5 FRP trade plus player assets. Mavs go that, plus FRP, plus Max Christie.

The 2025 1st they got is from the Hornets and is lottery protected, turns into 2nds if the Hornets don't make the playoffs. It's only a 1st in name.

Kings improved their team, got rid of Huerter, gained some first-round picks and cap flexibility/TPE. I wouldn't say they got robbed despite Spurs not giving up anything. What did you think Kings were going to get? Vassel? Sochan? Castle? None of those players are nearly as good as Lavine. It would have been nice for the Kings to get that ATL pick but other than that no complaints from most Kings fans.
