Kings improved their team, got rid of Huerter, gained some first-round picks and cap flexibility/TPE. I wouldn't say they got robbed despite Spurs not giving up anything. What did you think Kings were going to get? Vassel? Sochan? Castle? None of those players are nearly as good as Lavine. It would have been nice for the Kings to get that ATL pick but other than that no complaints from most Kings fans.

Yeah I was expecting one of Vassell/Sochan/Castle/Johnson to be a part of the deal but was shocked none of them were in the trade.

I mean at the end of the day as long as Kings front office and fans are satisfied (which it seems you guys are), then congrats are in

It’s funny that this is actually true — Monk/Sabonis are pretty similar to White/Vucivec. I would take Monk and Sabonis but from a statistical standpoint they play similarly and put up similar stats.

Yeah, I think that is the one thing most Kings fans were hoping for was that Atl pick. But Lavine isn't a huge drop off from Fox, plus the picks and cap flex/TPE, not bad at all.

I'm not sure any of the Spurs young players are actually good. Not getting any of the Hawks picks is the big shocker. Getting a Spurs first is nice though as it'll be nice if Wemby misses a lot of time for whatever reason

Will be neat to see how good the Spurs can be this year, and just the things they're going to be able to do offensively. Maybe Fox's defense can come back a bit.

Spurs just need one more dynamic player at hybrid forward (not necessarily a Kawhi replacement, but someone with SF/PF-size), and then they're good to go basically for main guys around Wemby.. but not yet, and still need some better, consistent shooters to emerge. Castle being an all-star-level player will be important.. even if its like an Iguodala type who can step up as needed.

The Spurs would do well to try to avoid the play in and get a top 10 pick. If they do this, they will have two chances in the lottery to get into the top 5 with the Hawks pick. This would put them in a major position to really put themselves into an OKC tier in terms of talent/futures.
