Thinking a young player like TDS or Jett and Magic 1st. Anthony’s bad contract coming back I’d assume.

Cole Anthony, Gary Harris, Jett and Denver FRP for Colby White and Huerter?

Salaries match. Orlando gets a 18 ppg PG and Bulls get FRP and lottery pick in Jett to play with less restrictions and showcase what he can do.

BOOO! Booo to this I say!

Really hope the Mavs can't get Coby, since IQ signed that deal in Toronto, he's the young guard I've been most worried about them getting.

Heard Danny Green talking on a Raptors broadcast. He said that the Spurs, and 2019 Raptors, always wanted the hardest opponent they could get in any playoff round -- because it gets you ready for the next round.

Yep. The Knicks shouldn't be ducking anyone, and if they have to, they're not ready

On the OP, I'd like to see ORL get a good guard. I think they should aim higher than Coby -- I'm not sure if he could hang in the closing line up of an ORL team playing deep in the playoffs -- but that's a high bar, and he'd be a massive improvement for the Magic.

Matchups make fights.
Knicks match up well against teams who have balance inside/out. Nuggets are a prime example.
We suck against teams who live/die by the three.
So yea, we have preferable paths to win. Never worth ducking someone, because that's a mental disadvantage that lives rent free in your mind.

Even though White is due a new contract the Bulls are going to have to insist on a FRP, for the very reasons that ORL would want him. He might score 12 points he might score 30, hot is hot. . What they don't want is any deal longer the White, expiring preferred. Mostly people seem to be sending them young guards that need to show what they've got. The Bulls have too many guards, just traded 1 away and got 2 back. So even if they liked the young guys you're trying to send they don't have minutes to look at them. Change your plan. Send some SF/PF or include another team.

Why are you worried about Dallas lol? Without Luka they are no longer a threat to make it to the Finals.

If Orlando isn’t going all in for a surprise stud lead guard, this is a fire move. White is way underrated, think he has a bit of Kyle Lowry like career if traded to a good team, where the opinion on him goes from polarizing solid young player, to accepted underrated AS level stud.

Damn it

That's still so crazy to me. I thought the Avs trading Mikko away was going to be the biggest shock I got this TDL season...Roy fan who stuck around as a colorado fan...but jesus man. At least we got a ring out of it, Rantanen had started getting lazier defensively, and Mikko, though worth the money he wants isn't quite as extraordinary a hockey player as Luka is a basketballer. Really sucks man :-(

It's not that I want to duck tough opponents. It's just a little annoying that when we finally get our s*** together after 20 years, so does the rest of the eastern conference...so I can't help joking about it

At least before we've gotten to rebuild our depth. If healthy I think we can beat anyone in the conference, but we don't have the depth to deal with any significant injuries in the playoffs this season.

White would be a great pick up for the *Magic* though, not as good a two-way guy as IQ, but still capable of playing some very sound defense, while being able to just go off and win games for his team, even before having THAT defense behind him.

Yeah, I didn't rate him at first. When first got to chicago he looked like a pure gunner, but a couple seasons ago something clicked and he started putting in a lot more effort defensively, which bolstered his confidence as both a shooter & playmaker. A trend that was given a really big boost last season when Zach went down. Kid can score at all 3 levels, has learned to be more of a PG than a SG, and is a guy you can't pick on even if his defense regresses a bit as his offense gets more recognized.

It’s just like the Bulls to draft and develop a stud just to dump him first chance they get.
