I wonder how heat fans feel about him now

See the difference between a player who plays out his contract compared to a player who demands to be traded to one team

Difference between the GOAT and Jimmy who heat fans loved
Stop being so disrespectful.

They do, but they would be gutting their team too much to make it worthwhile. They would have to include Washington, Gafford & most likely Naji, which wouldn't be a wise idea unless Lively was healthy. I would honestly prefer those two over Butler right now anyway.

Should have just gone to the Warriors.

Exactly he's being an unreasonable douche bag. He's lucky he's got a decent set of options to got to which are pretty much gonna be gone very soon.

Why didn't you extend him and then do a S&T?

Okay now Pat, I’m just saying…you have a chance to do the FUNNIEST thing.

Give Lakers Bam, but KEEP Butler. Doing this will do the following:
- the NBA world would go absolutely insane.
- Laker haters, Lebron haters, etc would be on suicide watch.
- Pat doing the Lakers a solid due to past history.
- But the funniest thing of them all, would be trapping Butler on the Heat and wasting another couple of years left of Butler’s already dwindling NBA career.

Nice, that will infuriate Riley hahahaha

Maybe the plan is to send Riley on a wild goose chase but all along he was never going to sign an extension with anyone. After the trade deadline, you know you can irritate Riley even more by forcing his team to answer questions about why they're not waiving him.

He's obviously willing to bet on himself and become an FA this summer rather than agree to an extension with one of only Miami's preferred teams. I guess he'll only agree if he gets his dream spot, otherwise better off becoming a UFA this summer and studying all his options on the open market.

He's about to get Sprewell'd.

And yes, should have traded him over the summer. Once Jimmy goes ornery he doesn't come back.

Memphis is especially confusing -- like, that's a good team!
