Spurs are going to rule the West next season onward. Don't know if they can salvage this year though
Kings improved their team, got rid of Huerter, gained some first-round picks and cap flexibility/TPE. I wouldn't say they got robbed despite Spurs not giving up anything. What did you think Kings were going to get? Vassel? Sochan? Castle? None of those players are nearly as good as Lavine. It would have been nice for the Kings to get that ATL pick but other than that no complaints from most Kings fans.
It was a horrible deal for the Kings who needed
1) to get longer
2) balance front court and back court
3) get better defensively.
They accomplished none of these. Some Kings fans will try to put lipstick on a pig because the Kings are the only Pro sports franchise we have. But season ticket holders I know will not renew their tickets until Monte is gone.
