You all need to it some CROW for Bobby Portis being a defensive problem and call his double double "empty" stats. You all podcasters... you are too young to be wise enough. You good, you love the team, no doubt, but humble yourselves. You hated Bobby, the other glazes Khris like he is Kobe ... Just clear your mind a bit, I am talking about myself now and I am hiring a wise phrase the "bleach reporter" from Amara's logic podcast. That dude although young he has it all in one phrase. "I prefer winning over loyalty". Bucks are stuck in nostalgia mode too much. If Doc keeps playing Brook after the deadline... I quit watching Bucks regular season. I will tune in to the playoffs to watch our 1st -2nd round exit.
The league is rigged and staged so my advice to you all is to take care of yourself off sports, in real life. Don't get emotionally to much attached with the team right now. 2021 was awesome ... Thank you. We were hungry back then... Now we are old , slow and all those hungry players are now fathers with kids and loaded with tens-hundreds of millions to spend.

Like if its looking ugly in the post-season & whatever the FO does.

Wouldn't blame him. He's been carrying the team too much.

My faith in Doc is low too. Seems like he really hasn't maximised his time here. That's on ownership f'ing up with Griff & getting hasty to bring him in.

Just a really sad situation, all unnecessary.

I've missed out. Too much news lately. Where did giannis hint at considering leaving?

Just putting 2 & 2 together. He's said this in the past wrt extending, prior to the Dame deal or Jrue from NO , coinciding with a championship.
Read on Twitter

This ain't the pre MVP's, pre championship Giannis begging for Kidd's job back. Dude's had his fingers on everything thats happened and for a while and will happen. He signed his extension after we sold the farm for Jrue and tried to get his buddy Bogdan. He signed an extension after we went out and got his coach and running mate in Dame. We've held onto Khris, Bobby, Brook, Pat for so long because they're Giannis' boys that he came into his own with, guys he can go ride roller coasters in the offseason and spot him during workouts. If a shakeup is needed to keep him happy, guys will go and new guys will take their place. These guys can act all Pikachu surprised face when things happen (lol at LeBron/AD) but guys this caliber know exactly what is happening and have been pulling the strings as much as anyone. If Giannis wants to play this cat and mouse win or I leave game he needs to take a look at himself and figure out who he wants next to him, because everything runs through him. If not, we'll get every draft pick some team owns, and piece out the rest.

actually reading a greek newspaper Giannis went a bit further

Let's say something funny because I was very, very serious. Now that a European is going to be, I think, the face of the Lakers, it's something new for Europe. It's never happened before. We obviously had Pau Gasol, he was a great player. Now I just love it. I want Luka on the Lakers, I want Jokic on the Knicks. I want all the Europeans to go to all the big markets to see something incredible. That's what I want.

obviously he did not mention himself but i doubt he wants only the other Europeans in the big markets

I knew it. Hopefully its Real Madrid, post-expansion vs. those teams. Then he can say he missed being on the other side of the Atlantic.

Don't forget Giannis' position having grown up as an immigrant. I doubt he isn't feeling some type of way about what's happening in this country.

Eric Nehm really should’ve posted a video for better context because you can see Giannis smiling all the way through him saying he wants to see euros lead big markets.

Trade options are dwindling…this team is listing…not sure the path forward…yet with Giannis anything is possible.

Are we trading Bobby or what because if so just get it done so we can have another big back, Bucks are just taking L's while he's out and also refuse to play Smith.

It takes 2, or more, to make a deal. I'm sure Horst has been discussing Bobby, and others, with several teams. But until/if the right proposal is on the table no deal will be done. We all want the team to "do something". Trades are a lot easier to make on an internet message board than in reality.

Whether you think Bobby is good for the team or not doesn't really matter. Role players start declining bug time at 30 and he's going to want a 3-4 year deal.

That does nothing for this team. The sad fact is Dame is not it, Lopez and MIdds are washed. Its time to blow it up, the run is over around this group. Hopefully Giannis understand this and accepts a year or two set back.

It's never going to be "a year or two set back" though lol. Trading for Jimmy is the only move I see that both still gives this roster a decent shot at a title this season, as well as gives you a financial out/opportunity to hit the reset button in the offseason.

I've just yet to see any better options or proposals. Wish-casting an unprecedented, 1-2 year warp speed rebuild with no draft picks and Giannis being happy to wait for another contending window at 33-34 years old isn't a recipe rooted in reality or logic. Just trade for Beal and those three Phoenix 1st's then if we're gonna shift into asset acquisition mode.

Jimmy not wanting to sign an extension with certain teams definitely gives me some pause wanting to trade for him now. He probably makes us better in the short term but if an extension is the only way he comes, there’s no reset button to be had. If they fall short then we’re still locked into Jimmy Dame and Giannis for the next 2 seasons with no maneuver space. I’m having a hard time figuring out if that’s what’s actually best or not. A Jimmy rental would be a decent opportunity to retool if he didn’t work out but that doesn’t look like he’s willing to make that a part of the equation and after the circus he’s created in Miami, do we want a potential situation like that?

Wonder what’s going to happen to basketball in MKE when Giannis is gone and the owners sell. Lots of talk of ‘big markets’. League expanding to Europe. Can MKE support a team at the level of a larger market? Shine will be off the arena and deer district.

While I certainly have my reservations with Jimmy, this team clearly needs a kick in the pants and he's the kind of guy that can give it. He's like PJ, but if he also had actual basketball talent. It could massively blow up, or it could be exactly what this team needs.
