Re: Random Thoughts Thread Part 4
Not that I really mind but when we lost out of the tourney, how was it that we
ended up having to play the 2 best teams in the league? Seems gratuitously punitive.

it's a clip of Brendan Haywood on a podcast telling a story about Kwame's rookie year where they went to Philly, and after the game, an "unnamed player" got on the bus and said that the Philly team doctor approached him and told him he wanted to work with him on catching the ball and finishing strong, and it turned out to be Doctor J

Maybe the league is trying to help our tank.

^ Maybe. But we don't seem to need much help.
(thanks 'cakes) Pretty funny. Dr J was reported to have huge hands. Kwame, not so much.

I wonder if anyone at Monumental Sports has ever
bothered to explain to Chris Miller the meaning of FT
*extended* ie that it cannot mean inside the FT
circle. It is an imaginary line from the FT line from
the edge of the circle to the sideline.
I know I shouldn't obsess about it but its meaning is
clear... visualize the FT line extended to the sideline.
*That* is FT line 'extended'.
If someone shoots from the circle, just say the circle.

2 upcoming games vs NOP could be decisive in the Tank Race.

I don't normally think like this but this first
week of new Admin has me wondering if there
is an opportunity for marketing about to open wide.
In response to "trump will fix it", offer yard

The possibilities seem almost limitless.

What are some of your favorite restaurants in the Montgomery, Howard, and Frederick County areas? Whether hidden gems or known chains?

Been hearing about bluesky recently so I wandered

Just watched Shooting Guards (Netflix).
Definitely a sad story (Gil/Crittenton/Peepeye).
Tragic story for the murder victim and her
family. One might attribute it to toxic masculinity
leading to ill considered responses totally lacking
in foresight, but there were complexities making it hard to simplify.
I'll kid around the deadly seriousness of it all and say it
was all GMEG's fault. Or Charlton Heston. Of course those are gross simplifications.
