Officially time to tank unless MJD pulls a rabbit out of the hat for a guy nobody knew was on the block.

Let Steph heal his thumb and knees, Draymond his calf/back, and play the young guys. Hope for hitting the lottery jackpot, because the team needs a good player on a cheap salary.

I bet we end up with Kelly O or Vuc

I assume that really means that the Warriors weren't willing to offer the maximum extension he's eligible for and is current insisting on. Which is a sound decision. Phoenix is only wiling to offer that because they'd be getting out of Beal's contract in the deal.

I'd bet this was Jimmy damage control. This only came out after the reports of him not fitting in by steph and core group.

Now it sounds like other teams are willing to offer the max extension he wants. When only the suns are offering it because Beal needs to go out.

It's a trend.

Memphis doesn't want to give him the extension.
Jimmy then publicly says he didn't want to go to Memphis.

Zion still the only deal that could move the needle (and even then, likely not this year) and be part of a future build. So they'll have the offseason with the same problems except Steph and Dray another year older. Yep, it's looking great.

Technically Ingram too.

But I dont think wiggins, gp2, loon package moves the needle. Since those 3 seem to be the only pieces in reported deals that mjd is willing to part with.

We need to find a way for nico to be the pels gm for 10 minutes.

You know what? Let's get Beal. Bad contract you say, anyone we could have got is a bad contract. But He fits Steph's timeline and he is one of the missing hole. This is how it works:
First: We trade Lindy to Suns for Dunn, this is so that Suns are not aggregating contracts:

GSW incoming:
Beal, Larsson,Ryan Dunn, Highsmith, Caleb Houston extra $3.7m before Hard Capp and 1rd picks from Suns and 2 seconds.
Beal fits as SG next to Steph, we have wings to replace Wiggins in Dunn and Highsmith.

GSW out
Wiggins,Moody, Kyle Anderson, Dennis, Lindy and Buddy Heild.

Miami incoming.
Dennis, Bruce Brown, Moody, Kyle Anderson, Cory Joseph from Magic. Would get Miami some seconds or 1 of the late first from Suns.
Miami trades Jimmy, expiring in Bruce, Cojo and Dennis, gets a young player in Moody and Good Player in KA.

Miami out:
Butler, Highsmith,Burks and Larsson's.

Magic Incoming:
Buddy and Burks, team has all the defense in the world but need someone to pretend they can shoot, I present Buddy and Burks: Nuff said.

Magic out:
Houston and Cojo end off bench players anyways.

Raptors incoming:
Wiggins, rumour are they interested,
Raptors out: Brown, maybe a few seconds for Wiggins.

This deal works on Fanspo. I know People's thoughts on Beal but we could shake up something and get this thing going.

Also if we don't want to pay JK we should reset him with picks from Brooklyn.

Fox to SAS likely means they pass us in the standings, which should seal the deal on a lotto pick. Also, AD to Mavs should keep them in front of GS, unless he goes down.

Since the kings now have a hole at starting pg.

To the kings

Schroeder, heild, and tjd

We get monk, len, and McDermott.

Kings get a starting pg, shed salary, and gain playoff depth.

Steph, monk, wiggins, dray, and loon.

Kcp is another "fit" sg who might become available.Hes been struggling in Orlando.

We have 2 things the magic need; pg (schroeder) and shooting (buddy).

Jake Fischer now thinks we're going after KD and potentially even LeBron lol

Honeslty probably not a terrible idea going balls to the wall throwing literally all of our contracts and picks at these guys

but again, most likely just flipping kuminga for vooch and throwing a hail mary for the 7th seed

Getting kd, that's one way to ensure dray isn't on the team.

This really just screams hey we tried, but trades are hard. We tried to get KD but we weren't trading JK or BP, but we tried!

Poole: probably doesn't want to play here because of Draymond
Butler: probably doesn't want to play here because of Draymond
KD: probably doesn't want to play here because of Draymond
LeBron: probably doesn't want to play here because of Draymond

Poole is probably the only "probably" that is true.

Well, no one knows what's inside the head of anyone for sure, it's speculation to various degrees but I don't think it's far off. Poole is self-explanatory. Butler hasn't said anything specifically about Draymond, but they're both pretty hard-headed alpha-type players who are known for clashes, so it's not difficult to see something setting it off. KD has had bad blood publicly with Draymond in the past and it's much speculated that he left in part because he was sick of Draymond's crap. LeBron is similar to Butler, nothing known, but 2 very strong personalities. Oh, also Draymond kicked him in the balls in the Finals, so there's that. So yeah...probably

And that's not even including the positional and offensive output issues that come with Draymond.
