The only Kuzma deal I can even be like, maybe(?), would be something like Pat for some bull from them, like Pat Baldwin. That gets us out of the 2nd apron and then you move Brooks expiring for Kuzma so they save a bunch of money and maybe flip Brook somewhere else? I don't know, Kuzma sucks.

Maybe Horst wants to get fired so that he can go to Detroit.

I think it's pretty clear by now that Horst should have been allowed to go to Detroit this past offseason.

For both his and our personal good, as well as for the good of the on court product. How many reports have insinuated that he doesn’t want to be here and that Doc has all the power that he’s supposed to have? We are a MESS.

I have bad news for you. There isn’t a realistic deadline move that is helping this team’s championship chances this year.

Bucks have to find a way to get under 2nd Apron, but they could turn Lopez into Hachimura and Hayes...Any interest in that?

This team isnt championship level. The coach stinks, the gm has wore his welcome out and hamstrung himself to make any moves... and thats before you get to the aging roster that they refused to retool when they had multiple chances.

Hayes is a spaz but id be into trying to pry something from the lakers. They may think they could make a run if they shore up their rim protection

Kyle **** Kuzma? This is a dark timeline man :(

I can't believe how disinterested I am in where we're at. It's a crappy feeling, I've loved the Bucks more than even the Brewers and Packers as long as I've been alive. Giannis is such a joy and gem to root for, it's incredible how I can feel so apathetic towards a team with him on it.

It's a testament to how poorly we've been run. I don't put it all on Horst, I think he was bullied into both Griffin and Doc, he was right about preferring Atkinson. But he does suck at drafting and now with have a buffoon with the loudest voice in the room. This sucks man

Hard disagree. The 31 1st has value. We can get a needle mover

Most of us were pretty optimistic going into the season (see below). Horsts moves with no cap space were to add Trent and Prince. Not bad for the minimum. Sure in hindsight we wish some moves had been made that are now being discussed but going into the season things looked pretty good.

I was going to say Butler. But then I realized that if Midds is garnering Kuzma as a realistic option, then no way in hell is Midds and Bobby getting Butler. Even if Butler is an expiring deal and suspended from his team. Miami would rather he rots away than take on Midds/Bobby long term.

Kuzma or Keldon?

I really did think that this team was gonna come out motivated and on a mission based on last year's disappointment. I think that was based way less on any vet minimum moves the GM made and much more on a full offseason and training camp with Dame/Giannis, and Khris' body not being cooked though. I've been ok moving on from Horst since last year's deadline, honestly.

I mean this franchise has decided to saddle themselves with perennial losers hiring Doc and trading for Dame. Might as well add Kuzma to the group and really **** down our leg.

(I woke up grumpy  )

I'd be very interested in buying low on Kuzma as an uptempo 4 next to Giannis in an alternate reality where we hired D'Antoni instead of Doc.

I've always believed in Kuzma but his value should be very very low right now.

Just like you wouldn't trade a player unless you knew what the replacement options are, I wouldn't get rid of Horst unless you know what the other options are.

Unless you think Horst is the Adrian Griffin of GMs.

At the very least and as a matter of principle, he should have been allowed to interview.
