We've had the same problem for awhile which is that nobody really wants our non Giannis players that badly and we have almost no remaining draft capital. Tough to make something out of nothing.

Winning 1 game against OKC doesn't make me believe we are contenders. The entire season as a whole proves to me we are not. And it's now been 1.5 years and we've not moved more towards being a contender.

What do you need to see in the regular season to consider the Bucks a contender? 60 wins? 58 wins? How did those seasons turn out? The season is a marathon. Injuries will play a role for everyone. Just get to the playoffs healthy. As a long-time Bucks fan, I have a really good idea of what 'not a contender' looks like. With a healthy Dame and Giannis, this team has a chance.

<Insert Lloyd Christmas meme here>

It’s not even the record, it’s seeing us play consistent good basketball. I know the eye test is hard to actually gauge, but watching us play even in our wins, we make dumb mistakes all the time.

Damn so PHX is just like real life it's where the old guys go to retire. Beal won't leave and Jimmy won't accept anywhere else. 2 days left just make a move, hope we aren't waiting for Riley to deal us a disgruntled Butler who won't resign here.

Miami's not going to take a bunch of garbage back for him. Either somebody's going to give them an offer that will clear him from their books with no additional headaches or they'll just see how much suspension an arbitrator will let them levy.

That reads like Jimmy's agent trying his best to do some sort of damage control.

This is absolute BS lol.

I read that, & it seems hyperbolic. He's a neutral player on an average, shortish contract.

Most likely they don't want to tell the Bucks' beat guy they'll do it for a 2nd &/or Tyler Smith.

Kuzma’s dumbass veto’d a trade to Dallas last year(lmao at him even having the ability to veto it) because he didn’t think they were contenders, hopefully he does the same this year.

The Kuzma news is just further evidence that Khris isn’t an asset around the league. This is reminiscent of Jabari when we let him walk to Chicago and people freaked out we didn’t get anything for him.

All time great Buck, unfortunate this is the road we’re heading down with him, but at the end of the day it’s a business.

Khris could be retiring midseason and I still wouldn’t trade for Kuzma, really need to stay away from net negative players. You can’t cure stupidness of selfishness.

If that's really the price to unload PC, then I keep him. You can pay the 2nd apron tax for being so poorly run.

Khris still has value for us. No need to trade him if it doesn't make us better. Same with Bobby.

Interesting.

So why do that if you are Jimmy's agent?

We polled numerous NBA executives that totally have no ulterior motives and they relayed their belief that the price tag to acquire Giannis would be a young player and one 1st round pick. "Now please, gimme gimme gimme, please" added a completely unbiased GM of a rival NBA team.

I also find it interesting that the bucks get linked to Martin and then Dallas pulls the trigger a couple hours later.
