Nico is quietly building something in Dallas...

Good move

Good point. Caleb Martin should have stepped up and carried the team when Embiid/PG/Maxey missed 100 games combined over half the season

If the Mavs go on to win a championship you have to build this guy a statue in Dallas. He saw the vision when nobody else did.

What are you guys clearly salary for? Tanking? Embiids about to comeback so that wouldn't work.
DusterBuster wrote:Grimes for Martin doesn't work salary-wise so guessing there's something more coming to Dallas?
Pretty much a pure salary dump for the Sixers its looking like tho.

That was 2 years ago...as of this season Grimes plays less minutes but scores more points on better FG%...the only reason this trade was made is because Martin has a contract and Grimes is a FA...Grimes looked good in Dallas...I think Nico is Just trolling now...right now I'm Just waiting for the news that he's trading Kyrie for FVV and Lively for capspace

Calling him a winning player based on one small sample size of one playoff run when he has never been able to even come close to replicating those shooting numbers is no different than calling him a losing player based on a larger sample size of him completely forgetting how to finish within the arc.

As a mavs fan you can just roll over and take the punches. Its so sad. Never seen anything like it. I feel for you. Almost everyone does. There is allot of fan solidarity. Didnt see anything like that either.
